Rafe Cameron was drugged and involuntarily sent to a rehab facility in New York on the same night Sarah and John B attempted to run away and into the storm, only to never come out.

Violet was sent to the hospital after she overdosed a second time, and was then soon sent into the psych ward.

The search party for them continued and the murder of Sheriff Peterkin was still being investigated.

As the fall approached, getting back to school and going back to normal was something that everyone on the island had to go back to, even if there was a murder case open and two missing teenagers.

Their boat along with a teddy bear —Sir Lancelot was found miles away from the storm, but with no physical bodies, and no communication from John B and Sarah. They were presumed dead.

Everyone grieved in their own way.

The Pogues were no longer the Pogues.
