TWO WEEKS AGO

THE HAMPTONS HOUSE - EARLY MORNING

"I wanna see him. This is our last week here." Violet says to Topper.

"You sure? Didn't you say the first two weeks were solitary?" Topper asks.

"Yeah but I'm gonna go crazy if I don't. I need to know if he's okay." Violet says. She also wanted to make sure he didn't tell anyone about Barry. No one took what you said in rehab seriously anyways, but just a precaution. Even Topper didn't know she accidentally killed a guy.

"They didn't let us go see you in rehab for a reason." Topper adds on.

"What do you mean? Dad saw me all the time." Violet says.

"He did? He wasn't supposed to." Topper asks, not knowing.

"Oh.." Violet says, not knowing the truth.

"Dad!" Violet calls.

"Yes, honey?" Her dad yells back, walking into the kitchen where Violet and Topper were.

"Top's gonna take me to Times square can I have your credit card?" Violet says.

"I'll take you, it'll be a little road trip." Their dad says.

"No! I have to go buy a new wardrobe. It'll be boring!" Violet says, coming up with an excuse.

"I got nothing else to do, come on. We have plans for dinner tonight, I'll make sure we get back in time." Her dad says.

Violet looked at Topper for help, but he just shrugged. He didn't know what to do.

"Okay, fine." Violet sighs in defeat.

TIMES SQUARE - SEPHORA - 2 HOURS LATER

"I hate shopping." Topper complains, knowing that they'll actually be shopping and not sneaking off to Rafe's rehab facility.

"Oh shut up, you had time to pack. I need my shampoo and conditioner. " Violet says.
