"What are you reading?" Victor sighed into my hair.

We were laying on the couch, me in-between his legs.

"Not sure. I just read the back and it sounded interesting."

He chuckled and started to run his fingers up and down my arm.

I shivered at the touch and heard a loud bark come from the kitchen. The sound of paws clicking against the floor quickly followed. Dylan came trotting into the room.

He jumped up onto the couch which was usually not permitted but Miss Peregrine was away right now. He was settled in-between my legs now and I rubbed my thumb along the top of his nose.

I felt Victor kiss my head and I smiled, leaning back further into his chest.

"I love you." I sighed, grabbing his hand with my free one and started rubbing circles on his palm.

"I love you too."

Dylan barked and looked up at me.

"Aww I love you too buddy."

I heard Victor laugh from behind me and I settled back into him with a big grin upon my face.
