Pete: why? Is he pressuring you or anything?
Brendon: no he's not

Pete: and Ryan liked you
Pete: I thought we knew this already?
Brendon: no like I really really like him..
Pete: okay and what's wrong with that?
Brendon: I don't think he feels the same way..
Pete: is that what you're worried about? Why would you think something like that?
Brendon: it's just what I've heard at yesterday's game apparently some people don't like me because Ryan's interested in me and others think Ryan is using me like he's done before
Pete: of course people would be jealous and has Ryan given you the impression that he's using you?
Brendon: well no
Pete: well there you go
Brendon: but how can I trust that? You know Ryan has a history I don't think I could handle finding out that I mean nothing to him
Pete: listen B I could spend all day trying to ease your worries but I don't think anything will help except talking to him about this
Brendon: but what if he stays that it was all fake?
Pete: then I'll beat his ass for you
Pete: but we can't get ahead of ourselves you need to talk to Ryan he's worried about you
