"Get out, and never come back. You are banished from Casterly Rock, and you're never allowed to return." An irate Tywin shouted out at the shocked young woman that stood before him, fighting back the tears that threatened to fall.

"But......but I thought........." The young woman began, before being cut off.

"Thought what (Y/n), thought that I loved you, thought that you were more to me than just another woman? I never had you down as a fool, but it would appear that I was wrong. You mean nothing to me, you are nothing more than something for me to enjoy and use, and that is what I did; now I am done with you, and I never want to see you again."

Tywin woke with a start, again he had had that dream, again the memories from all those years ago had come flooding back as if he was being tortured for what he had done.

(Y/n) had been Joanna's handmaiden, a beautiful, intelligent young woman from a good house, and when Joanna had passed away, (Y/n) had stepped into the breech, taking it upon herself to care for the twins and the newly born Tyrion.

Try as he may, Tywin could not ignore the radiant creature that had slowly become like a new mother to his children, she was so much like his beloved wife, yet so different. She had the same good and kind heart as Joanna, but instead of waves of blonde hair and green eyes, (Y/n) was dark haired and had the deepest and brightest blue eyes that Tywin had ever seen, as well as a smile that made his cold heart beat faster once again. With Joanna's death, Tywin believed that he would never love another, but as he grew closer to (Y/n) he couldn't help but think that he might be wrong.

(Y/n) was shocked when one night Tywin had come to her chambers, dropping to his knees as he told her about how he felt for her, how he wanted to be with her; (Y/n) had been unsure about any possible romance between herself and Tywin, Joanna had not been gone long, and (Y/n) had been her friend, but it was hard to pretend that she didn't have feelings for the handsome young Tywin.

From that night, (Y/n) and Tywin had secretly been a couple, during the day she would spend her time with the children, helping to care for the three young lions, and at night she was Tywin's lover, a lover that Tywin found himself caring for more and more as the days turned into years; but sometimes the gods have different things planned, and after (Y/n) had informed him that she had fallen pregnant with his child, Tywin had banished her, fearing what people would think knowing that he had taken a woman so soon after his wife's death, and despite his outward coldness towards (Y/n), Tywin's heart had broken again as he watched the young woman leave the great castle that night, never to return.

Tywin had never forgotten (Y/n), and in spite of his dead heart, he had never stopped thinking about the dark haired beauty that had loved him, nor had he stopped regretting having pushed her away, and now with the memories that were haunting his dreams, he determined to find her.

It had been months, and no matter what Tywin had tried, he had been unable to locate the woman that he now desperately wanted to find with every fibre of his being; he didn't know why, but every new thought and memory of (Y/n) was making him smile, and the notion that he could have a child that he could be proud of, intrigued him.

A sudden knock at his chamber door brought Tywin back from his thoughts.

"Father." Jaime said, pushing his way through the door, and looking down at his father as he sat at his large desk.

"Do you remember (Y/n)?" Jaime asked, a small smile on his face as he thought about the young woman that had once cared for him and his siblings.

Jaime could remember how much he had loved (Y/n), and he also remembered that he had been devastated when she had told him that she had to leave Casterly Rock, and how he had been even more devastated when she had never returned. To him she had been an angel, an angel that had been sent by his mother to love him when she couldn't; an angel that had loved him and the others as if they were her own.

Tywin's ears pricked up as he heard the name; Jaime and Cersei had asked about (Y/n) a lot when she had first gone, but as their father had continued to refuse to answer their questions, the two twins had eventually taken to never mentioning her in front of him, choosing to keep her memory alive between themselves as they spoke about her late at night.

"Yes, of course I remember (Y/n). Why do you ask?" Tywin enquired, trying to look as cold and uninterested as he possibly could.

"Well she is here in Kings Landing, I saw her today, she's only here for a short time, but she has agreed to come to the Red Keep tomorrow." Jaime told his father, looking slightly confused as Tywin's eyes grew wide.

"Well, I am sure that you and your sister will enjoy meeting up with her again; now if you don't mind, I have things to do." Tywin huffed matter-of-factly as he shooed his son from his chambers, sounding completely indifferent to the news despite the fact that his heart was jumping for joy.

                                                                >>----------------------------------<<

Tywin looked out of his window onto the courtyard below, his eyes never moving from the three figures that had just entered. At the front stood (Y/n), her arms embracing his three children, and behind her stood two young men, both standing strong, tall and straight. Tywin could see that the two were twins, their features identical apart from two things, one man boasted a head of long blonde hair and a pair of the greenest eyes, while the other was crowned by hair as black as a ravens wing and eyes as perfectly blue as his mothers.

Tywin couldn't help but notice the genuine looks of affection between (Y/n) and his children; and despite knowing he shouldn't, despite knowing that (Y/n) had probably never forgiven him, he knew that he had to see her up close, and possibly be introduced to the two young men that were obviously her sons.

"My loves, it is so good to see you all again after all these years, you have all grown up so well; Cersei you are so beautiful, and Jaime you are as handsome as you ever were, and my little Tyrion, as sweet as always." Tywin heard (Y/n) say, as he drew up behind where the group stood.

"I would like to introduce you to my sons; this is Blane, and Barden." (Y/n) told the three Lannister's, as the two young men stood forward, and bowed in unison.

"Well, I believe that you promised me a tour of this great Keep, young man." (Y/n) said, smiling as a happy Jaime took her arm in his.

"I believe that I should be the one to show (Y/n) the Keep." Tywin said, coming around to face (Y/n) as the two twins stood next to their mother's side, seemingly ready to defend her against the unknown man that had just come upon them.

"My Lord Lannister, I believe that I would prefer it if your children showed me around; after all this time, we have so much to catch up on." (Y/n) told Tywin, keeping a tight hold of Jaime's arm.

"But after my tour, I think that you and I may need to speak." (Y/n) said coolly as a happy Jaime and Cersei led her off into the great Keep with Tyrion, Blane, and Barden following behind.

Tywin watched as the group walked away, knowing that the meeting he would have with the woman he banished, would not be an easy one.
