Chapter Forty-Seven - Not Even Zefron

"Sam was chill about the whole little crush thing, which is relieving," Blaine informed me as he met me after Cheerios Practise, and the very words made my stomach sicken.

"I don't think you should be friends with him," I said, I hated the very words that came out of my mouth, but I needed to say it.

"Wait, what?" He said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, a lot of confusion.

I took a deep breath, turning to face him directly, "I just don't feel like it's a just friends thing, you're my boyfriend Blaine, not his."

"And when have I ever acted like he was my boyfriend?" Blaine spat back, almost angry.

"When you sang that song, which was clearly about him." I argued back, "It isn't right."

"I thought you were the one encouraging me to be open about my feelings, which I thought you understood were harmless!" He was right, I had been supportive. Though I had bee n wrong, and I had gotten myself into this mess.

"I'm not saying to just stop being friends with Sam forever, but for now, I don't think it's a good idea." I fought back, I knew I wasn't usually this controlling - but this had to be done, right?

He shook his head, "I'm not just going to stop being friends with him Poppy, he's my best friend, you can't ask me to do that."

"Your best friend who you have a crush on Blaine! It's not innocent!" I shouted back, and now we were raising our voices.

"How is it that one day you're completely fine and now you're so against the whole thing? That makes no sense Poppy!" he yelled aggressively.

"Because I realised it wasn't right! And I don't know if I can trust you around him anymore!" His eyes turned cold at this, and I could tell he was holding his anger back.

He took a deep breath, "I'm not just stopping being friends, that's unreasonable Poppy, I thought you knew better." He then walked off and got in his car, quickly driving off without me. That was cruel, he had known I didn't have any other lift him. So I sat on the steps of the school, screaming into my hands before I dialled my Dad's number.
