"Why don't we conspire to kill the daughter of Zeus just like the old times...Theia?"
Kill the daughter of Zeus? Si Arri? Papatayin namin siya? At anong just like the old times? Have we met before?
"P-po?! Papatayin?" I gulped.
Lumayo ako sa kanya at nagtataka ko siyang tinignan. She was still grinning na parang may masama talaga itong binabalak. She wasn't around my age pero hindi rin nagkakalayo ang edad namin.
Suddenly, naputol ang pagtititigan namin when someone spoke.
"Hi, love! Anong ginagawa mo dito?"
I blinked twice at lumingon sa front door kung saan iniluwa nito si Jack. He was waving his hands and winked at our direction.
Gone were the sudden chills I felt from Oceane, the daughter of Poseidon when I heard her giggling.
Baliw na ba 'to? Huhu.
"Hey!" she greeted Jack. "Nothing. I was just messing with the daughter of Apollo," she said at nginitian si Jack bago ibinaling ang atensyon sa akin.
Lumapit naman si Jack. "Hello Tea!" he greeted and flashed his handsome smile at us.
Tinaguan ko lang siya pero naguguluhan pa rin silang tinignan. Sakto namang bumaba si Arri at ngumiti sa amin ni Oceane habang iniirapan si Jack.
"Oceane! Tapos mo na bang takutin si Theia?"
Takutin? I blinked twice at nagpapalit-palit ang tingin kina Arri, Jack, and Oceane.
"Yes, Arri-chan! As you can see, nagulat siya," magiliw na sabi ni Oceane at tuluyan na ngang nawala ang madilim niyang aura kanina.
Chan? Akala ko ba Greek demigods kami? Ba't may nawawalang Japanese dito? Huhu.
"T-Takutin?" I asked, confused.
Ano bang pinagsasabi nila?
"I'm sorry! Gusto ko lang kasi gamitin ang past ng deities natin sa intro ko," Oceane apologized.
Wala pa rin akong maintindihan.
"You see, Tea. Apollo and Poseidon once conspired to overthrow Zeus, my father a long time ago," Arri sighed and explained. "Gusto lang gamitin ni Oceane ang background na 'yon to scare you into believing na you did something evil."
Baliw naman pala 'tong si Oceane, e. Akala ko, nagkita na kami noon at may balak talagang masama.
"Well, hindi naman nagtagumpay sila Apollo and Poseidon sa plano nila and they were sent to work for Laomedon, the king of Troy, as a punishment," Jack continued and shrugged.
"Troy? As in katulad ng Troy na movie? When Paris of Troy dared to steal Helen from Menelaus, the king of Sparta? Napanood ko 'yan!" I squealed.
Oh my gods. Ang galing! They're the real deal.
"Except for at that time, si Laomedon pa ang hari ng Troy," Arri inserted.
"Popsy built the walls of Troy that can't be destroyed by mankind while your father took care of Laomedon's cattle. A year later, both of them asked for payment pero 'di pumayag si Laomedon and threatened to mutilate them and sell them as slaves," Oceane said and tilted her head, thinking profusely.
I continuously nodded with the flow of information. Ang cool. May natutunan akong bago. Ang gara naman ng prank ni Oceane. May pa-explanation.
"Of course, the two gods were mad pero bumalik naman sila sa Olympus after they reconciled with Dad," Arri said.
