Napasimangot nalang ako sa sinabi ni Ridan. Hindi man lang ako binigyan ng soothing words para naman kumalma ako dito.
Kinakabahan kasi ako sa mangyayari.
Ridan and I were sent to join a meeting with the admin or the higher-ups for the current issue regarding Arri, as well sa mga umatake sa amin ni Than kagabi.
Sofie has a training with Dion. Than's resting in the dorm to recover for what had happened last night. Also, nasa infirmary si Jack at binabantayan si Arri. So the only people left to attend the meeting were Ridan and I.
"Sino ba ang kadalasang kasama sa meeting?" curious kong tanong kay Ridan as we walked through the hallway papunta sa Headmaster's chamber.
Nakikita kong napapayuko ang mga demigods na nakakasalubong namin to give respect. As expected, those who didn't do that are the Alphas. Hindi talaga nila gusto ang presensya namin.
"Head girls and boys of the other classes. Also, Sir Tribe," Ridan nonchalantly said habang nakatingin sa harapan at mukhang naiirita na sa mga titig na natatanggap namin.
"Sir Tribe?"
"Sir Tribe Fonacier, son of Zeus. Arri's brother and the headmaster," he said.
I suddenly gulped. Isa pang anak ni Zeus? Oh my gods. He must be so controlling. Naiimagine ko rin na medyo may katandaan na siya. Parang si Albus Dumbledore lang ng Hogwarts!
"Hello, Theia." I blinked twice.
Standing in front of me was the student council president I just met yesterday. 'Yung anak ni Themis, the goddess of justice and law.
"Hello, Lex. Nandito ka rin," bati ko sa kanya which he returned with a smile. Kasama siguro 'yung student council president?
"I'm here as the Alphas' head boy, not as a president," he said with a chuckle.
Tila nawala naman ang kaba sa dibdib ko. At least, the head boy in the A-Class is not the same with the others na kung makatitig sa amin, parang papatayin kami.
"Ridan," bati ni Lex na tinanguan lang ng kasama ko.
Ang snob!
Tuluyang binuksan ni Lex ang pintuan dito sa chamber kung saan gaganapin ang meeting. Ridan and I quickly went inside at bumungad sa amin ang isang pabilog na table kung saan may mga estudyanteng nakaupo. Kami nalang ata nila Ridan at Lex ang kulang. Wala pa rin pala ang headmaster.
Umupo na kami ni Ridan sa pwesto na may mga pangalan namin. Katabi ko rin si Lex at may katabi siyang babae na parang mataray at ang sama ng tingin. She's wearing a rainbow clip at nakalugay ang buhok nito.
"I can't believe your friends with them," sabi ng babae and raised her brow at me. Umirap naman kaagad siya.
"Come on, Reese. Don't be like that," mahinahong sabi ni Lex.
But the girl named Reese dismissed Lex at tinignan ako nang mariin. "So this is Apollo's daughter?"
She examined my look at ngumisi.
"You look weak."
My mouth flung open pero hindi nalang ako nagsalita pa. Ayaw ko rin kasi ng gulo.
