"Kabado ako sa driving skills mo."
Matalim kong tinignan si Jack habang minamaneho ko ang Benz niya. He's at the shotgun seat while Than's at the back of the car, not giving a damn as usual.
"Shut up, Jack-ass. You drive slow," I said and looked straight ahead. Inayos ko na rin ang seatbelt ko and adjusted the car seat as we stopped by the stoplight. Uminom na rin ako ng tubig from the water jug which is at the side of my car seat.
"Hoy Arri-gatou. Ikaw rin kaya, you drive slow!" reklamo ng gunggong na 'to. Ginaya pa niya 'yung accent ko sa pagsabi ng you drive slow.
I shot one brow up and crossed my arms. For graces' sake, of all the Simitheos, I'm the fastest driver and the most awesome demigod.
But my bubble of thoughts was suddenly shattered when this casanova spoke.
"You drive slow kasi...you slowly drive me crazy." And cue the annoying wink.
Ang corny. Hindi nakakatuwa.
"Fucking retard," I spat as I felt my cheeks flared up.
"You blushed," he said at tinawanan pa talaga ako. "I can't believe na kinikilig ka rin pala!"
Naiinis ko siyang tinignan. That's it. My thin string of patience was now severed because of this guy!
Annoyed, I muttered a curse and glared at Jack. Kinuha ko naman kaagad ang water jug ko sa gilid at akmang ihahampas na sana sa kanya nang biglang tumikhim si Than.
"The stoplight. It's already green."
I automatically stopped and resumed to driving. If not for Than, hindi ko na sana maririnig ang paulit-ulit na pagtunog ng busina from the other cars at my back. Mas nabwiset naman ako sa paghagalpak ni Jack ng tawa. He was even tearing up.
Sana umiyak nalang siya parati...sa sakit.
"Ang babaw ng kaligayahan mo," I retorted.
"Huh? Hindi ka naman mababaw."
Nagjoke na naman siya which earned a sapak from me while I was looking straight ahead while driving.
Ang corny talaga ng mga banat nito.
Sana si Than nalang ang nasa passenger's seat if not for Jack's whines about his baby being driven by me. Kailangan daw niya kasing bantayan ang pagmamaneho ko kasi ayaw niyang magasgasan 'tong Benz niya due to my fast speed.
Like duh! Kahit bilhan ko pa siya ng isang dosenang sasakyan, e. Ang arte.
"So our first lead is Raoul's wife. Inyang Lopez, right?" Jack asked when he recovered. He was now holding his phone at ipinakita sa akin ang picture nung Inyang. She looks very young and energetic. Para nga siyang single.
Anyway, mabuti naman at sumeryoso na din ang isang 'to. Today's the start of our mission and we need to find the oracle's son para makuha ang notebook kung saan nakalagay ang premonition which involves the Olympians.

Nilingon ko naman si Jack na kasalukuyang busy ngayon sa pagtitipa ng phone. Well, what do you expect? He's here at the mortal realm. Maybe, he's now contacting the girls that he asked for numbers daw at Tea's school. Nakwento niya kasi sa amin ni Sofie one time.
