chapter 15 " it hurts"

Lara pov

I walked into school with Linn and Lea next to me who was talking about the party.

" You should have come too Lara, it was fun," Lea said to me.

" Well I also had fun... at home," I said smiling. it was Monday so that meant we had training in the first and second periods. I got my sports bag out of my locker and I and Linn went to the field. I expected Lisa to be there training but I saw her sitting on a bench with an umbrella. I went to her.

" What happened?" I asked sitting next to her.

" This happened," She said showing me her right wrist with a CAST!!

" How?" I asked looking at it.

" I was helping Ian lifting the counter but It was too heavy so my wrist ended up between the counter and the floor and then this," She said showing me the cast again.

" and the back of my head still hurts," She said rubbing it. I blushed at that.

" So cap heard from coach what happened, can you still play the first match?" Linn asked her walking towards us.

" Of course I can, and I will, it's just that I am tired that is the reason why I won't be training now," She said, and she definitely looks tired.

" Hey Linn," I heard Sofia say to Linn. Linn went to her and left me and Lisa alone. 

" Go and change," Lisa said tiredly.

" go Inside and sleep," I said standing up.

" Why should I, I love rain," She said calmly.

" I will change fast," I said running to the changing room.

Lisa pov.

I was watching the training on the fields it was raining super hard that even the umbrella that coach gave was useless. I placed the umbrella next to me feeling the raindrops on my head which was kinda nice. I looked at Lara and saw that she got cold, everyone was cold. They still had an hour to train. 

I looked at the clouds and suddenly heard a clap of loud thunder. all the cheerleaders were screaming and also some on the soccer team. The coaches said that everyone could change in warm clothes and then wait inside for their next class. I got inside the school and went straight to the library where Lea and Chris are.

I got inside and laid on one of the big cushions having my eyes closed. I slept for I think 30 minutes until I heard some people talking. I opened my eyes and Saw Lara, Jennie, Linn, Sofia, Leigh standing talking to Lea and Chris. 

" Wakey wakey Lisa," I heard Leigh say. I stretched myself and closed my eyes again.

" Lisa, come on wake up we need to go to the other side of the school," Lara said sitting on the same big cushion as me.

" Says the one who is sitting down," I said opening my eyes. She just rolled her eyes and looked at the rest.

I was about to close my eyes when a teacher talked to us sending us away.

I got up and followed the rest to our next class.

Still Lisa pov

I walked out of school alone deciding to walk home but first go to a phone store so I can buy a phone and listen to music. It was still raining but not that hard, I walked away and heard my name.

" Hey Lisa, want me to give you a ride," Linn asked. I turned around and saw her with Lara and Leigh.

" No, I-"

"Okay cool get in," Linn said opening the door of the backseat. I sighed and walked there, She herself got in the driver seat. Leigh was still talking to Amanda and Chris. I looked at Lara and saw her looking uneasy. I looked around and yeah there I saw Jamie staring deeply at her. I walked towards Lara and touched her shoulder. 

" get in the car," I said looking at Jamie, she changed her gaze to me and then looked away.

I got in the backseat with Leigh, and we drove away.

" Oh Linn watch out!," I said holding her seat tight. 

" It's fine Lisa just relax you are always stressed," She said driving fast.

" you almost hit a kid!" Leigh said.

" But I didn't," Linn said stopping at another red traffic light. We were almost at the apartment building.

" Are you gonna train tomorrow?" Linn asked me riding to the next traffic light.

" Yeah," I said.

" But your cast?" Leigh said.

" what about it," I said.

" It can't get wet," She said looking at it.

" It's not broken, and I don't even know why I have it," I said.

" Didn't the doctor tell you?" Lara asked me.

" well, she said for safety," I said, getting my bag.

" put a bag around it when you train," Linn said.

" we will see tomorrow," I said. Linn stopped the car and I got out.

" Bye Lisa," the three of them said.

" Bye," I said closing the door. I walked to the door and saw that someone opened it.
