chapter 32 "paranoid"

Lisa pov

I held Lara's hand stopping her from opening the door. She looked at me confused and scared.

they knocked again and Lara looked at the door. I walked with her to my room and turned off all the lights.

" Lisa I don't like this," she said.

" Just stay here until I call your name," I said walking out of the room.

I opened the door and saw Julian standing there.

" Gosh it took you long," he said walking in.

" Lara you can come!" I said turning the lights on.

She got out and saw Julian.

" Hello," Julian said to her.

" Hi," Lara said walking next to me.

" what are you doing here?" I asked him.

" Checking up on you," He said.

" And your paranoia," He said smiling.

" Why aren't you-" I looked at Lara and then back at Julian.

" so are you, two official, now or not," He asked changing the topic fast.

" Yes, we are," I said looking at him.

" Well, we should drink on that," He said walking to my fridge. I looked at Lara and she just smiled.

" Maybe we want some time alone," I said wanting him gone so I can go on with my sketch.

" Oh, so fast!" He said. I looked at Lara and saw her blushing.

" No, NO not that!" I said hitting his head not too hard.

" So you don't want me here?" He asked me.

" We both know you are not here to check up on me," I said looking at him.

" Your girlfriend is here you should spend some time with her, you know to get your frustrations out," He said smirking. I didn't have to look at Lara as I know she is blushing mad right now.

" I think you are the paranoid one here," I said walking him to the door with a wine glass.

" Okay, Okay, Let me stay here if they decide to knock on your door," He said whispering. 

" I can handle them myself," I said. 

" I already won from them, and this time I will win better and harder," I said.

" you know I have some work to do, Rina also, the eldest people here are too old, Alex is being busy with money, why don't you two pick Brianna up from the hospital early in the morning," He said loudly.

" we would if we have a car," I said.

He gave me the keys to his Porsche and walked away,

" You have to be there at 8," He said. I closed the door and walked towards her.

" Should I drive you back home?" I asked her.

" Is something going to happen then?" she asked me.

" No," I said.

" then I will stay here," She said sitting on the chair.

" but," I looked at the clothes she is wearing, Still my clothes.

" Are you sleepy?" I asked her. She shook her head.

this is something you should be used to Lisa

I sat down and started sketching again.

Lisa pov

I woke up and didn't saw Lara behind me. I got up and walked out of the room, and there she was in the kitchen. I looked at the time and saw that we had an hour.

" here I made you a sandwich," She said giving me a plate. 

" And you?" I asked her. 

" I already ate," She said showing me her plate.

" you didn't sleep well again," She said sitting next to me.

" Am I really paranoid?" I asked her, eating my sandwich.

" No, It's just the way you act," She said. I ate my sandwich fast and got up.

" And it makes me...scared," She said. I didn't look at her feeling guilty.

"... But it's fine," She said giving me a back hug.

" If something happens I know you will do something," She said hugging me tighter 

I sighed and turned around. I hugged her back and I saw that she closed her eyes.

" I am sorry," I said looking at my apartment.

" it's fine," She said.

" But please tell me," she said to me.

" It's just, I met a lot of stupid people and I don't want them to meet you," I said.

" Those people you saw, I did a lot of bad things with them, and I can't get them out of my life easy," I said.

She broke the hug and gave me a peck on my lips.

" But they will die if they make one stupid move," She said.

" yes, they will, and if they do we maybe have to leave the apartment building," I said.

" but Rhon owns it," She said.

" And Rhon is older than Rina and Pablo together," I said.

" His time will be over soon, and then someone else has to buy it or he choose who gets to keep it," I said

" how long do you think he will have?" She asked hugging me.

" I hope he will still be alive... But he is the kind of person who hopes his time will be over soon," I said, sighing.

" Was he nice to you?" She asked me. I smiled.

" He knows who my parents are, he helped me a lot and talked with me a lot... But one day he changed, he stayed in his apartment and didn't come out anymore," I said.

" Rax doesn't remember him and I also forgot about him until I saw him again after a long time," I said feeling bad.

" What happened to him?" She asked me.

" I don't know only, Brianna, Rax, Clair and me don't know, but the others won't tell us," I said

" But we should go," I said. She broke the hug and we got ready.
