chapter 27 "date"

Lisa pov

The training was done and I was waiting in the car for Lara, I already showed her the car.

My phone ringed and it was Rita

" Hey, Rita how are you?" I asked her.

" I am good Lisa thank you," She said.

" I baked your favorite cake you can come and get it," She said

" Thank you so much! I will be there in about 45 minutes," I said to her.

" Okay then drive safe, bye," She said.

" Bye," I said hanging up. 

It's bad that it began raining again but hey I did shower. The door opened and Lara got in the passenger seat.

" I fixed an umbrella," She said showing me the umbrella. 

" Good," I said.

I drove away

( at the bakery)

 Lisa pov

We got inside the bakery, there weren't many people. I saw Rita sitting on one of the tables trying a cheesecake. 

" Hey Rita," I said. We walked towards her.

" Hey Lisa, and you must be Lara, I am Rita owner of the bakery," She said smiling at Lara.

" Hello," Lara said.

" Ronald would you please bring me the cake I made for them," Rita asked one of her workers.

The guy came back with the cake in a box and a bag. He gave it to me and I thanked him.

" you girls can eat here if you want it is raining," Rita said looking outside.

" It's fine we have an umbrella," I said.

" Okay then have fun you two...But not too much fun," Rita said.

" thank you Rita," I said. We walked out of the door and ran to the car. 

We got in and Lara held the cake.

" Don't you need to pay for it?" Lara asked me.

" I know her for almost six years," I said. Rita was the one who made food for me when I was younger.

" people in the apartment, I see them as my family, we may live in a building that looks like breaking, we do have money and we don't mind doing things for each other for free," I said focusing on the road.

" must be nice having them," Lara said.

" I am super thankful for them, but I am not good with words," I said sighing

" Where are we going now?" she asked me.

" Well, I wanted to go back to the fountain, but I think not in this weather," I said.

" We can go to my house to eat the cake and then go on a walk?" She said.

" if you want to," I said driving towards her house.

Still, Lisa's pov

she opened the door and we got in. we both took our shoes off and got in.

Wow damn

" beautiful house," I said looking at the living room

" Thanks," She said placing the cake on the table.

I opened the bag and got the box out. Rita already put two forks in the box. she got two plates and a knife.

" You know why there aren't any plates and knife in it," I asked her.

" No," She said cutting the cake.

" Because she knows that I will share it with the rest, back at the apartment we don't use plates or a knife to cut it, we just eat it with forks," I said finding it weird to eat it when it's cut.

" so you don't use anything but forks," She said placing a piece on my plate.

" yes," I said grabbing the forks and giving one to her. she put one on her plate.

" This is one of my favorites," I said. she took a bite and her eyes widened a little bit.

" Wow it is good," She said getting another bite.

I also took a bite and got met by the chocolate flavor.

" who eats the most whenever you share a cake?" She asked me.

" You guess out of the people you met," I said taking another bite.

" the twins got in my mind first," She said smiling.

" Now guess which one of the two," I said finishing the piece of the cake.

" I can only remember Chris," She said.

" you got it right tho," I said clapping for her.

" Do you want another piece?" She asked me. I shook my head.

" that's the thing why I share the cake because I eat the least," I said.

" you can get another one," I said. she shook her and then pointed at her belly.

" I have to put that cheerleader uniform on, But if it is okay I can put it in the fridge," She said closing the box.

" you can have it," I said.

She put the cake in the fridge and walked back to me.

" where is your little sister?" I asked her.

" Today she is at daycare, and because it is Friday she will stay the night with her best friend," She said cleaning the plates.

" Wanna go outside?" I asked her, she nodded her head and we put our shoes on. she put her jacket on I opened the door only to be met with loud thundering. Lara startled going back in the living room. I closed the door and walked to her.

" Let's stay inside," I said. She nodded her head, still having her hands above her ears and her eyes closed.

I did my shoes off and walked towards her. 

" We are inside and it's going to be fine," I said placing my hand on her shoulder.

She opened her eyes and hugged me. I hugged her back. She broke the hug and also did her shoes off.

" Let's go to my room," She said walking up the stairs.

Shit Lisa, noo

I followed her to her room trying not to have weird thoughts.

I got inside her room and the first thing I saw was my hoodie on her bed.

" Didn't know you still have my hoodie," I said looking at her smirking. She blushed and looked away. I laughed and looked further.

She had a lot of pictures a beautiful big desk and a big tv I saw two doors. I guess one of them is the bathroom.

" Let's watch a movie until we have to go back to school," She said lying on her bed.

" I will get the cake," I said going out of the room. I breathed in and out and went to the kitchen.
