chapter 29 " why not!?"

Lisa pov

" Yeah I wanted to talk about that, I saw four people around the same age as us sneaking in," She said. cutting Julian off. Julian widened his eyes and Rina looked at the both of us.

" I will definitely go, can you go back with Linn?" I asked her. 

" I will drive her back home, or to the apartment," Rina said. I nodded my head and ran into the changing room. I got my stuff trying to be normal and silent as possible. I got out and saw Lara.

" I am sorry but I have to go," I said walking away but she held my hand

" be careful," She said letting go. I nodded my head and ran away.

I threw Julian his car keys he catches it and we both run towards his car. 

We both got in and I looked at Rina who is now talking with Lara.

Julian started the car and speed his way back to the apartment

(time skip)

we got out of the car and tried to open the door. but it's locked. Julian got the keys and opened the door hard and loud. we both ran up the stairs till we are by the so-called dead stairs.

" What is that loud noise?" I heard Alex say walking the stairs up.

I looked behind me and saw Rita also walking out of her apartment.

" Lara saw four people sneaking in the building and Lisa thinks it's Luuk and his friends," Julian said whispering.

" Lara saw that," Alex said. I nodded my head and was about to walk on the stairs but got stopped by Alex.

" They could be long gone," Alex said.

" Bullshit," I said.

" Let's, just wait," Julian said.

" We can't do it now!" Julian said.

" why not!?" I asked him. in the meantime the twins also came up the stairs. 

" because if you do, then maybe the floors will break down," Julian said.

"remember one wrong step, or if you fall hard, the floors will fall down and you will die," Alex said.

" Let them die, but not you," Rita said.

" Just go to your apartment, take a shower and we will come over thirty minutes to your apartment," Julian said.

Alex let me go and I walked down the stairs. I got into my apartment and took a quick shower. I got out and changed into comfortable clothes. I turned the tv on waited for a knock on my door.

about an hour I heard a knock. I opened the door and saw Julian with Alex. 

" where are Rina and the twins?" I asked them.

" They decided to sleep and not think much about it," Alex said,

" Rina called and they will be here in about 30 minutes," Julian said looking at the kitchen.

" let's ignore it now, and try to keep the door locked," Alex said walking around the room. Julian went to the balcony to smoke. How I wish I can smoke.

it was silent for a long time

" I want them gone," I said. they both looked at me.

" You don't want Lara to meet them huh?" Alex said looking at me.

" I don't want them to meet Lara," I said.

I heard Julian laugh and Alex sat down next to me,

" Look, kid, I don't think you should love someone," He said seriously

" Why not?" I asked him.

" One, I cringed, two, it is just for a few years, three, one day you will end up like Rina, smoking, and drinking almost every day, not taki-"

" Alex," Julian said.

" No Julian let me talk," He said.

" yeah, Julian let him talk," I looked behind me and saw Rina with Lara behind her.

" Uhm you end up taking c-care of a child alone and...that's it," Alex said.

" I should go it is late," Alex said walking out of the door. Rina also walked out of the door and followed Alex. 

" I should go and help Alex," Julian said running out of the door. Lara closed the door and sat next to me.

" And?" she asked me

" Nothing happened," I said standing up feeling tired.

" and those people?" She asked following me to my room.

" they are already gone," I said getting comfortable clothes for her.

I gave them to her, and she took it.

" go change and brush your teeth," I said laying on my bed. She got out of my room and to the bathroom.

after five minutes she came back and laid down next to me.

" Do I have to be scared?" She asked me silently.

I laughed at that.

" No, there is nothing to be scared," I said. 

" But I should lock my apartment door," I said walking towards the door. I locked it and closed the balcony door. I walked back in and she looked at me scared.

" As I said, there is nothing to be scared of," I said lying on my bed again.

" Can I hug you?" She asked me. I gulped and prepared myself.

" Yes, You can," I said. she hugged me and laid her head on my chest. 

" Lisa?" 

" Yeah?"

" What are we," She said playing with my hair.

" What do you want us to be?" I asked her cringing on this part. she got silent.

" Lara- what is your surname?" I asked her.

" Reyes," She said.

" Okay, Lara Reyes?" I asked her.

" Yes~," She said looking at me.

" Will, you...Close the door please?" I asked holding back my laugh. She looked at me sadly and got up. I laughed without noise. She closed the door and Laid, back in the same position.

" Lara Reyes?" I said again. but she didn't answer me.

" You have to answer me and then I will ask another question," I said.

" Yes, ~," She said again.

" Will you...be...," She looked again at me smiling. I looked around but couldn't find anything else.

" Will you...Be...My...best friend," I said and smiled.

" Lisaaa!" She shouted.

" Okay, Okay," I cleared my throat

" Lara, Reyes...Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her.

" Yes!!" She said and kissed me I kissed her back. she broke the kiss and I laughed finding myself super funny

" It's not funny, I got really sad," She said poutingly. she laid her head on my chest again.

I closed my eyes still laughing.

" Goodnight," Lara said.

" Goodnight I said catching my breath
