Part 11

It's 2 in the afternoon on Monday 20th. Darshan is sitting on the sofa in the living room with Naushad, Hardik, Jyugal, Bhavya, and Dhruwal. He glances out of the window. He sees Jaimi sitting with Ayesha, Meera, and Neel in the balcony of her room.

Naushad: Darshan tumne mujhe toh woh ladki se milaya hi nahi!

Darshan: Engagement ke waqt hi milwaunga. Abhi toh milna allowed nahi hai.

Darshan looks outside again. Jyugal follows Darshan's line of vision and laughs.

Jyugal: Milna allowed nahi hai issi liye bhabhi ko chupke chupke dekh raha hai, right?

Darshan looks away. The others laugh.

Naushad: On a serious note, mein toh bahot khush hoon ki tu shaadi kar raha hai!

Hardik: Me too!

Jyugal: Mein zyada khush hoon kyuki yeh Heli se shaadi nahi kar raha hai.

Naushad: Sahi baat hai! Uss ladki ka kuch pata hi nahi chalta. Jis din tum dono Ahmedabad ke liye nikle uss din woh office aae thi. Meine usse baat karne ki koshish ki tum dono ke baare mein par usne kaha ki, "Jo cheez khatm ho gae hai uss baare mein baat karke koi faida nahi hai! Woh kya karta hai aur kya nahi usse mujhe koi fark nahi padta."

Darshan becomes a bit dejected by what Naushad said.

Dhruwal: Tu kyu sad ho raha hain? Usne tujhe choda yeh uska loss hai.

Darshan: Sahi hai.

Naushad tries to lighten up things as there's an awkward silence in the air.

Naushad: Darshan woh proper rich wedding kar raha hai. That 5-day wedding!

Hardik: Definitely! Kitne saare cards humne Mumbai mein distribute kiye hai.

Dhruwal: Sahi hai!

Jyugal: Tum logo ko Darshan ki engagement ring dekhne chahiye thi! Kya ring hai? Usme 57 0.1 carat ke diamonds hai.

Hardik: Kitne diamonds hai? (Shocked)

Jyugal: 57!

Hardik: Bro, bhabhi ke family mein sab karte kya hai?

Darshan: Unki family if I'm not wrong then woh sab textile industry mein the par ab saara business unhone bech diya hai.

Jyugal: Uss din shaadi ka saara kharcha dutch karne ka faisla liya tha par mujhe Ayesha se pata chala ki Jaimi shaadi ka saara kharcha utha rahi hai unke hisse ka. Bhabhi is truly an independent woman!

Darshan: For sure is!

Naushad: Agar hum Jaimi ko Heli se compare kare toh woh dono poles apart hai.

Hardik: That's right! Heli ne Darshan ko choda kyuki Darshan ne unka relation publicly announce nahi kiya which immplies that she wanted fame jo usko bahot milti Darshan Raval ki girlfriend ke naam pe.

Jyugal: Sahi hai! Jaimi toh sabse chup jaati hai.

Darshan: Haan! Woh dono bahot hi alag hai. Jiss din Roka ki announcement hue ussi din uss ne mujhe clearly keh diya ki woh shaadi ke baad bhi job karna chahti hai aur woh apna last name bhi nahi badlegi.

They all chat and Darshan looks outside after a few minutes. He sees Jaimi sitting on swing chair and a male is covering her eyes with his hands. Darshan couldn't make out his face. The male slowly removes his hands from Jaimi's eye and she turns around. Jaimi hugs the male as soon as she sees his face.
