Part 29

Darshan reaches the club with Jyugal, Hardik, Dhruwal, Ayesha, Neel, Meera, Naushad, Mehjabeen, Heli, Aashi, Pearl, and Surbhi(Heli's friend and co-actress) by 9:30. They take the stairs and go up to the 1st floor, which overlooks the dance floor and the bar. They order drinks. The boys talk amongst themselves while Ayesha, Meera, and Mehjabeen chat in the corner. Heli is leaning against the railing as she chats with Aashi and Surbhi.

The Delhi Gang enters the club and goes straight to the bar to fetch a drink. They settle themselves down in one of the cubicles as they wait for Jaimi and Armaan. The two enter the club after 10 minutes, and the gang sees them. It looks like they're arguing. Armaan runs and sits on the last available seat in the cubicle. Jaimi huffs as she eyes him down. He gives her an innocent smile.

Setu: Jai tu idhar aaja! College wala scene karte hain.

Jaimi walks over to her and sits on her lap.

Palak: What the hell is going on in your life?

Jaimi: I guess sabko pata hi hain, so ya hum dono divorce le rahe hain 6 mahine ke baad because he loves someone else.

Vikrant: Jai, ek baat bolu!

Jaimi: Kya?

Vikrant: Tu abhi koi shaadi se bhaagi hue dulhan lag rahi hain!

Jaimi: I wish bhaag gae hoti toh aaj yeh divorce wala scene hota hi nahi. And, meri family tak ya kisi aur tak yeh baat nahi jaani chahiye. And yeah, mein iss mehandi ka kuch nahi kar sakhti, so deal with it!

Rithwik: Chill mar! Koi kuch nahi kahega.

Jaimi: Let me grab a drink before I lose it!

Armaan: Ruk! Mein bhi aa raha hoon.

Jaimi walks to the bar counter with Armaan following her. Jaimi leans on the bar counter.

Jaimi: What's up Jay(owner of the club)?

Jay: My god! Itne saalo baad aaj yaha ka rasta kaise bhul gae aap?

Jaimi: Stop it now! Humara spot kisine liya toh nahi na?

Jay: Not a chance! Do saal se woh spot meine band kar diya hain and aaj clean kiya hain kyuki Armaan ne call karke kaha ki aap sab aa rahe ho.

Jaimi: Thanks! I need my regular drink.

Jay: Of course! Shaadi se bhaag ke aae ho kya?

Jaimi: Haan! I was missing this place so much ki beech shaadi se uth ke aa gae.

Jay: LOL!

Armaan: My regular as well!

Jay hands Jaimi a bottle while handing Armaan a glass of mocktail. Jaimi waves at Marco(the bartender) then, head back to the cubicle with Armaan. She rips off the sticker of the bottle and tosses it in the trash. Mehjabeen spots Jaimi while she is gulping down her drink.

Mehjabeen: Jaimi!

Ayesha: Huh?

Mehjabeen: Woh dekho! (Pointing towards Jaimi as she makes her way through the crowd with Armaan)

Ayesha and Meera look at them then, the three go to the boys as Pearl steps away to grab another drink.

Mehjabeen: Jaimi ko aaj raat ko sambhal na mushkil hoga. Tum dono ko lagta nahi hain ki neend milegi.
