REGRET

"Can you stop laughing?" You spoke, annoyed at Jungkook's constant laughter that resonated in the car, which was parked still outside the house, allowing the bright sunlight to illuminate the insides while the heat radiated through the windows hitting my thigh.

"Well, you were the one who suggested it," Jungkook remarked still grinning, "I mean you should feel grateful to be my girlfriend"

"You know what, you are right, but if it wasn't for your previous scandals then maybe I wouldn't be in this position" You spoke as Band PD's words repeated themselves in your ear.

-

"I'm sorry but that isn't possible as of now, Jungkook has had a playboy image for years now and it is costing us fans, the marketing team think it might be beneficial for Jungkook since his fans will think he doesn't play around, I know there are other side effects of this but his image is more important and their contract allows them to date" He informed us while your smile dropped into a frown hearing his words, "On top of that there have been photos released this morning and I have also given a statement to prevent any more damage and I cannot take that back, sorry."

"How long will have to be his girlfriend?" You asked hoping to get out of this mess soon.

"At least 6 months before I can release a statement about your breakup until then you will have to put up an act to convince everyone as well as Mr Lee, Jungkook don't mess up this time, he's will be sponsoring your next few deals which you lost by sleeping with his daughter but he is giving you another chance, don't mess it up" He spoke firmly to Jungkook.

-

"My scandals are none of your business" He spoke sternly.

"Right the aren't, you are such a playboy, I can't believe you fucked the daughter of your own sponsor" You were beyond disgusted.

"I didn't" He emphasised, "I never touched her, I'm not that type of person"

"Right you aren't" You didn't believe a word that came out his mouth especially after that pub incident, you found it hard to belive him. The next few movements were at the speed of lightening as Jungkook got out the care and raced through the ancient yet modern brown door, entering the house, "I shouldn't have taken this job" You spoke to yourself as you locked the car and headed inside.

"Hey, Jinhee, what would you like to eat?" Mrs Jeon asked you as you took of your shoes and placed them on the rack, while you replied back 'anything' before joining her yourself, "I was thinking of making pasta but Jungkook didn't reply and stormed up to his room, do you know what happened?" She asked you.

"Actually, he is being moody" You spoke remembering, why he rushed out the car in such a hurry, "but may be I was at fault" You spoke knowing it wasn't your place to judge someone based of others opinions and sayings.

"He is like that, anyway do you want to freshen up a bit and I'll make us some food?" She suggested, while I nodded.

"I'll take a shower and then I'll help you with cooking and my pasta is the best you will ever taste, Mr Choi has always praised my cooking skills with pasta" You smiled, reminiscing childhood memories when Grandma would teach you how to cook pasta because you were so adamant of learning new things - taking risks.

"Mr Choi?" Mrs Jeon asked me.

"Uh... Yes Mr Choi, he is my um, uncle" You breathed out the breath you were holding as you heart accelerated at an abnormal speed while sweat beads formed across you forehead, you were close to busting yourself and one question lingered in your head - 'What was happening to me?' Never had you ever felt this way;  you felt loved yet vulnerable, this was never you.

Maybe it was you the whole time but the mask that covered the truth had started to crumble.

Walking back into your room, you galnced at Jungkook's closed door while you heard music blessing through Junghwa's door.

Soon you had finished baking the pasta bake alongside with pieces of garlic bread that Mrs Jeon helped you make. Placing the pasta into serving bowl as Mrs Jeon went to call everyone except Mr Jeon, who was gone to his friend's house.

The grump boy trudged down the stairs as he made plans to go somewhere else to cool down for the night, "Jungkook, you cannot leave until you have your dinner" Mrs Jeon scolded him as he wore his long black jacket along with his black 'Prada' leather laces shoes that went well with his blue mid wash ripped skinny jeans that were coupled with a white T-shirt.

"Jungkook!" You caught his attention, "Where do you think you are going?" You asked worriedly, while he handed me an invitation that had his name printed, "A party that starts at 10 PM and you are leaving at 8 PM, stop being such a wuss and have dinner" You grabbed his arm and dragged him to the dining area where Junghwa was already sat at, giggling looking at her brother getting scolded.

On the other hand Mrs Jeon smiled widely at my actions, 'No one has ever been able to handle Jungkook so neatly' she thought to herself before joining the children, unlike the first meeting with Jinhee where Mrs Jeon was worried how she would take care of Jungkook, Mrs Jeon had now had all the confidence in Jinhee.

"Jinhee, I'm sorry, I heard about what happened today, good thing you got those wounds have been treated" She spoke with empathy, "My husband said he will be working alongside the police since this is getting out of hand" She informed you but little did you both know that he didn't go to the police but to someone who was very close to him and he could trust.

All Jungkook could think out at this moment in time was the judgements that were passed from everyone, 'I thought you were different' he thought. He didn't once touch Mr Lee's daughter, he was never that sort of person, in fact he had never touched anyone like that. he admitted he would go and get drunk and do stuff that he would regret in the morning but he had only once had made that mistake - 6 months ago. That moment six months ago he found happiness yet regret.

'Will she ever come back?' He thought feeling guilty.

A/N:

UNEDITED AND WRITTEN ON MY OLD LAPTOP WHICH I HAVEN'T USED FOR YEARS SO IF THERE IS A SPAG ERROR PLEASE LET ME KNOW - I'M JUST SO BUSY EVEN THOUGH TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF MY SUMMER SCHOOL.

Honestly, the online summer school went better than what I initially thought and not just that as long as I meet the minimum GCSE grades in English and Maths (Which I do) and I get a good score for the UCAT (the admissions test) I get called in straight for an interview - I HAVE SOOOO HOPE FROM 2 UNI'S. I'm going to very optimistic that I will get in if I carry on putting the effort in but I really got prepare myself for rejections - Like the course I want to do is really competitive.

I will try to update regularly since it kinda gives me a break from studying but I need to prepare for my mocks to get good predicted grades.
