THEODORE

I watched her retreating form in bewilderment. To say she was dramatic would be an understatement. Who the hell gets mad just because someone didn't know you're a celebrity?

One of her friends Osaze slammed her hand against the table. "I've had enough of this. Why does she always act like she's the most important person on earth. Desmond here is a very famous actor and me, I'm Kenny the freaking blogger but I don't go around telling people!"

I arched a brow. "You're Kenny the blogger?" I asked the fuming melanin  in utter surprise. Kenny the blogger was a popular anonymous blogger that always gives top notch news and is really cool. I didn't expect it to be a girl. The name sounded more like something a boy would use.

She chuckled nervously. "Well I am. And only my friends know. Just the seven of us and now you do. You're one of us now anyway. You're not to tell anyone okay." I nodded curtly. "Of course I'm not going to say a thing." I said and zipped my lips imaginarily.

Sighing in relief after she had my word, Osaze's voice went down as she wouldn't want any one else to hear her. "Why does she always keep doing this?"

"Stop getting so worked up over Irene and her issues. You should by now know that when she's done with whatever she does when she's mad, she'll return. It has always been like that." Ola another of her friends chipped in.

"The fact that it keeps happening does not make it right!" Osaze snapped before letting out a frustrated sigh. "I'm sorry." she muttered.

"Where is she?" I heard myself voice out. "I don't think going  to her is the right thing to do now." her other friend Kiki said. "Don't worry about me. Tell me, where is she?"

"Well I can't precisely say where she is I have an idea of where she could be. She could either be at any of the sports area or the music room." Desmond said muttering the last part to himself and I couldn't help but wonder what it was all about. I didn't give it too much thought though, I left the table to find her and probably give her a piece of my mind.

After two boring tours around the school by the principal himself during the holidays, I knew my way around the large citadel of learning. I decided to check the sports center because I had a feeling she would be there. I wasn't sure though. It was just a hunch.

Stepping into the swimming area quietly opening the door, I sighted her sitting before the pool. Her slouched back facing my direction and her face out of my sight. I took gentle strides towards her the sound of my designer leather shoes echoing through the room.

She turned back at the sound of my shoe hitting the floor. Sighting me, she let out a low groan. "What do you want?"

"Were you trying to drown yourself?" I couldn't help but ask. I took in my surrounding. A large and sophisticated adult pool sat in the middle of the wide room, rows of bleachers sat at various sides of the room, and a door that of course led to the changing rooms of the swimmers.

The last time I had been to a pool, I vowed never to visit one again after the gruesome incident. My dad also had the pool at our house locked. How funny that I was seated in a pool area with a girl I just met and supposedly infuriated.

She snorted loudly. "I'm not dumb you know, I wouldn't drown myself because of you. I'm way more than that and incase you don't know, I'm a swimmer, one of the best Claret has."

I fought the urge to roll my eyes. "Irene." I called softly and she glanced up at me. "You really shouldn't get mad at someone because they don't know who you are. I can assure you that there are millions of people out there who don't know a thing about you. Are you going to act like this with all of them when you meet them and they know nothing about you? You're practically chasing everyone away by so doing."

She looked away and landed her eyes on the cold water before her which she had her well pedicured foot in. "Who are you to tell me what to do and what not to do? You don't know a thing about me so keep your little talk to yourself Timothy."

"It's Theodore and I'm not in any way telling you what to do, I'm just giving you a piece of advice that would come in handy in due time. You really should change your attitude towards people because all the wealth and fame you've gathered, could be gone within the twinkle of an eye and then what?"

I thought I heard her sigh. "Just get out!" she growled and my lips curved into a smile. "I will, I definitely will." I got up and made for the door. "A word is enough for the wise." I said before making my way out of the swimming area.

IRENE

To say I was infuriated would be an understatement. First he embarrassed me, then he decided to give me a pity speech. Who the hell does he think he is?

Trying my best to get those words he said to me out of my head, I removed my neatly pedicured foot from the water and decided to put my socks back on.

My gaze lingered on the still waters and I groaned loudly. "I am an award winning model. Nothing he says would change that." those words were meant to assure me.

Slowly breaking down, hot tears flowed down my cheeks and I quickly wiped them off. "I'm a strong girl." I muttered. "His stupid words shouldn't get to me. I'm more than that." I murmured to myself and let out a deep breath.

The bell that indicated break over went off and I quickly grabbed my snacks that I didn't touch since I arrived the pool and made for my classroom.

                              •••••

Immediately it was closing time, I didn't wait to talk with my friends. I just walked out of the class block and straight to the school's parking lot.

I took quicker steps when I noticed Desmond behind me, he had always been so caring and I couldn't help but wonder how more angelic any other boy could be.

He caught up to me in no time and grabbed me by my wrist. He made to speak but I beat him to it. "I have to be alone." I mumbled softly. He nodded and gave a small smile. "Stay safe." he said and kissed my forehead gently.

I watched him walk away and got into my car with my designated driver in it.

I needed to do something and I knew very well what it was. I sighed and said to Mr Sunday my driver.

"To the flower shop." and he zoomed off.

I will not be updating soon because of my forth coming examinations but I'll try to drop them once in a while. I promise they will be more frequent when I'm done with my exams.

Don't hesitate to spread the gospel. Love you ❤
