"Just as you suspected, there was a group of people trying to cause trouble around Satos' farm." His voice darkened. "They wanted to burn down that place!" Sounds of pushed keys came from the other side.

"Were Father's men able to stop them? Did any of them run?" Rigaku's heart fluttered as he held his breath.

A loud clap startled the boy. "High score!"

"What?" The air escaped from his lungs, breaking the tension.

"It was a perfect run!"

Rigaku let out a sigh. He had forgotten Nihil was also a big gamer.

"Do you know their identity?"

"You bet! That's good news! Remember those punks you told me to check on?"

"It was them, right?"

"Bingo! Their boss is an ex-boxer. They kicked him from the official sports for underground tactics in matches. He was aggressive, broke things or bones of people he didn't like. At one time, he used to be popular, but then his career took a deep dive after he smuggled brass knuckles into his gloves for extra power."

"Excellent job."

More typing came from the other side of the line. "And I haven't finished yet. Hope you are sitting, this is grounding!"

Rigaku smiled a bit. "I'm ready."

"Guess whose number we found in his phone?"

"Ueno-san's?" The oldest Kamini said it as his face darkened, and the grip over his phone strengthened.

"Bingo! They weren't random punks attacking a random girl! They had to watch her routine for several days."

"Until they had a good grasp of the surrounding, but Kagetsu became the X factor."

"Totally! Ka-chan wiped the floor with them. Only the boss gave him a bit of trouble." A big slap resonated as Nihil hit his knee. "And they say reading the manga is useless!"

"What has manga to do with this?"

"Ka-chan didn't tell you? He picked a fighting technique from it! It was an instant K.O.!"

While Nihil laughed at the other side, celebrating a victory for geeks across the globe, Rigaku shook his head in disbelieve. And here he thought he knew his youngest brother well.

"Still in the mood for more good news?"

"You just want to keep me on the phone for the whole day, do you?"

"Your lovely voice is addicting!"

"Hai, hai, get on with it."

If Nihil knew how to make Rigaku feel embarrassed, it was by teasing him how good his voice was. It was one of the reasons people loved to listen to him.
