Deep down, beyond iris and nerves connecting them to the brain, Freya ventured into Mori's soul. It wasn't honesty that danced in his eyes, but a hunger for revenge and power. Even his smirk lacked the sincerity, it had a few minutes ago. He was ready to sink his fang into his prey.

Too bad, some prey knew how to bite back.

Freya shrieked, rolling him away from her. Sprawled on the grass, his eyes widened in shock as she towered above him with the proud chin. She shook her head in disappointment and turned to leave.

"Wait!" he shouted, grabbing her wrist.

Freya tightened her fists, baring her teeth like a mother wolf ready to pounce at anybody endangering her cubs.

"Don't you get it?" His voice lost all the gentleness, ordering and spitting poison he surpassed. "We have to take her down! With you and Kaminis, we are unstoppable!"

'So, that's how it is!' Freya lowered her head, letting her muscles relax. 'It was never about me. All those sweet words and glances were nothing but a charade.'

Mori smirked. "Be a good girl, and I can make you big in this school," his whispering voice surged energy into her body.

Freya directed it through his testicles.

Right over his penis.

Straight into his anus.

His ego crumbled into sub-atomic level dust in one sweep kick.

His blood-curdling yell ringed in her ears like banshees' cry. His tall figure curled into a ball, grasping his manhood. The total capacity of his brain went into keeping his sanity instead of spurting one curse after another.

Again, with a deep breath, Freya towered above him, shaking her head in regret. What a shame he couldn't see past the masks people wear. But perhaps that was for the better. This way, he couldn't use their deepest secrets to his advantage.

The girl left him there, followed by his hateful glare. His life wasn't in danger, but no doctor could fix his bruised ego. Well, in his case, he might need scientists studying atoms.

Freya stopped in front of the old hut where little kittens meowed one after another, playing and trying their mother's patience.

"Hi," Ueno greeted Freya, who waved back.

The younger girl put in front of her notebook. "Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, go ahead."

Nodding, Freya wrote. "I want to be honest, even if it hurts."

Ueno's back trembled.

"Mori-san told me you have ripped one entry for Garden Parade. I don't wish to trust him. He isn't an honest person."

The other girl's dark eyes ventured away from the ginger-haired kohai. Freya waited for her to provide an answer, but with each heartbeat, she turned sadder.
