Never, ever, EVER, forget to put on mittens or gloves when going outside in the winter for over half an hour in Canada. EVER.

I was walking Chloe, and I thought that it would be a warm day. The sky was a deep blue-gray, filled with clouds.

But no. It's Canada. Never warm in the winter. My hands got all numb, and when I tried to warm them up again, they started to burn.

I'm not saying that all of Canada is cold. I live where it's not as cold as Quebec or Nunavut, and I don't know how cold it is in Saskatchewan or Manitoba, but I think that it's colder here than in those places.

My poor, poor hands
