Jimin's Pov

I took down a gulp as her father stared at me. His stare clearly stated the displeasure. I am sure he wouldn't accept our relationship by the way he is looking at me.

"Your boyfriend?", he asked her and she held my hand.

"He is", she spoke firmly and confidently. I am not at all surprised by her guts since I am used to it.

"He is my brother Mr. Kang", hyung informed him and the elderly man let out a sigh. I wonder what kind of relationship they share. Because the conversation between them is looking heated up as if they are having old grudges.

"Why him out of all the people in this world?", her dad groaned and I tried out to pull out my hand but Yuri's hold was strong.

"Because I love him and he loves me. He is the only one who made me feel like that. And if he is not coming along with us, I will not move an inch from here", Yuri stated in a stern voice. I wonder where she has got that courage to speak like that.

"Yuri, they won't do anything to me. You are in danger. Go along with your dad", I tried to convince her but she was stubborn on her words. I could see her dad shaking his head, probably in disbelief because of his daughter.

"Fine, you can also come along. Pack your clothes for a week until the case ends", her dad spoke to me and Yuri let out a smile at her victory. I bowed to him and rushed to pack my clothes. I don't want to make it late since I am already in his bad books.

"Hyung, I don't think I could attend the school this week", I told him and he nodded.

"I know. It doesn't matter since it's related to your safety. And don't do that job for the time being. You need to be cautious with every move", he mouthed and I nodded. Seeing hyung concerned for me makes me feel very happy. I wanted us to be just like this, being there for each other at rise and fall.

Yuri's dad looked at my hyung and then at me. They are surely having a silent battle going on. He walked to the door and Yuri linked her arms with me. She waved a bye to my hyung and he warned her to be careful, no matter what.

"Mr Kang", hyung called the elderly man and he turned to him without any expression on his face.

"If you need any help with the case, I would be glad to help", hyung offered his help with a nervous expression on his face.

"I am doing better till now Mr Park. It would be better if you concentrate on your present cases", the elderly man commented and I got mad. Like seriously, my brother just offered him help. If he wants to reject the offer, he could have done it politely. What's the need to speak like that?

"I think my dad is really angry. Please don't mind his words", Yuri spoke to my hyung and he patted her head.

"I don't mind it at all. After all I deserve it. He is my senior and has the every right. You don't worry and take care of yourself first", he mouthed to her and I saw Yuri smiling widely. I am happy that they are both getting along.

I boarded his car and he took the passenger seat. Yuri sat down beside me and smiled. I could see her dad taking glances at me and tried to maintain my calm. But I am literally shaking on inside. I am going to stay with him for the next week. A whole week with a man who clearly hates me as his daughter's boyfriend.
