Prologue

She ran through the lanes in the dark for her life. It was a do or die. Howls of the dogs could be heard and her heart pounded. Her legs were swollen with the distance she ran. She knew they were bleeding yet she has to do this. Her breath was getting heavy and the blood got mixed with her saliva. Catching on hold with the last bit of strength, she continued running because she knows....

Death is far better than the life she had for the last year.

Author's note

Well! The Prologue was added after the story was completed. I just started it off with the first chapter and continued writing, but now felt like adding a prologue.

This is a book which is a part of the series I have decided to write. There is a connection to all the books but every book has it's unique story and it isn't necessarily required to read the prior books to understand the story of the other ones.
