Chapter 29: Lovebirds pt.3 (Series Finale)

Rashaa's POV (this is it, this is the final chapter)

(Y/n) is finally out of the hospital! as well as her friend Sandy' they both are doing well, but (y/n) has to go easy on herself, she's got a few days off. I was planning on getting Josh something, because he seemed to be stressed about (y/n) and his job, it was pretty weighing to see her so vulnerable in a hospital bed.. I've been constantly visiting (y/n) with Josh, we even visited Sandy too, she's really nice!
I've heard from (y/n) that her parents called, their all the way in another country, I was slightly curious about them. I'm doing my work and so is Josh, but we both try to see (y/n) and Sandy as best we can! And now that their out of the hospital, we can start breathing again.

Josh POV

I was sitting on the couch scrolling through tv channels, till I got a call from Rashaa, "yellow?" I picked up my phone, I heard Rashaa laugh in the phone, "hi Josh, I was wondering if you want to hang out with me?" She asked excited, "sure, I mean I'm off right now.." I said, I got up already putting in my coat, it was pretty chilly today. "Where do you want to meet up?" I asked bending down to grab my shoes, and then walking to the couch, "would you like to meet up at my work place?" She asked, "yeah, that's fine!" I said putting on my shoes, "great! see you there!" She said, "see ya" I said, already heading out the door.

(Time-skip) (you drinking a coke?)
(Yeah..?) (that's very unhealthy you know!) (so?)

I drove to Rashaa's work place, and strutted in, "hi Josh!!" I saw Rashaa at the counter, "hey!" I greeted back. "so what do you wanna do?" I asked, "well, I wanna get you something" she said, "woah, it's not my birthday?" I said putting my hands in the air, "I'm gonna get you something any way!" She said, "come over here!" She said walking into a hallway, "don't tell me what I think you doing" I said, 'she's not going to get a bitty is she?' I thought, looking at the bitty's as we walk, "which bitty do you want?" Rashaa said smiling, "no.." I started, surprise building up, "way.." i finished, "what do you mean, 'no way,' we can be bitty buddy's" she said smiling, "I've never had a pet before, not even a police dog" I said, "cmon these guys are easier than police dogs, they can talk!" She said, I looked at the bitty's, "I'll pay for half of the price, so you can get a bitty!" Rashaa said, "please?" She said.. "...fine.. but your not paying for nothing!" I said pointing at her. I walked through the the hallway, looking at the multiple bitty's, even though their very interesting, I really don't know about getting any of them yet, I continued to walk till something caught my eye, a lone tank was over at the side holding a single bitty, it had 4 tentacles coming out of it's back, and it's covered in a black slime like substance, it had a single bright turquoise eye. It was in a sitting position, staring at me, " that one" I pointed at it, "that's the one" why did I pick that one of them all, because a deep sadness surrounded it, I'm probably not a hero you see in the movies, but I'm still a police man, and if someone is in trouble I'm always there for them. "Are you sure Josh? that one's aggressive to other bitty's, he could hurt you!" She said, "he's going to be put down isn't he?" I asked already knowing the answer, "..yes..in 2 days" she said, looking down, "then I'm taking him, he needs help" I said confidently. she walked out with me, "Alexander! Josh is taking Nightmare" she called out, a teenager walked out of an employee room, "what?!" He said, "people are out of there minds, won't you get arrested for that?" "He is a policeman" she said, "I mean, okay" he said walking down the hallway, "your a good man Josh" Rashaa said, "you are a hero" I blushed, "I mean you don't have to put it like that!" I said scratching the back of my head. The teenage kid walked out of the hallway with a unmoving box, he gave it to Rashaa, I gave her my credit card, and she scanned it, "130 dollars!" she said, " here!" she handed me the box, "oh! and this as well" she grabbed my hand putting something soft inside, I looked at it, it was a small cape, with a sun symbol on it, "he might want this.." she said, I placed it in my pocket. Me and Rashaa walked out side. "Thank you Josh, for being my friend" Rashaa said, "I'm happy!" She said "I don't even know how else to describe this feeling, when I'm around you" she said opening the box with me, we both looked inside and looked at the bitty, something in the goo was sparkly, it was turquoise sparkle and shine, like beautiful stars. "What are you going to name him?" She said, "definitely not Nightmare" I said, "because..he's beautiful, a sign of our friendship" I said, "I'm going to name with Nighfall" I said "it was at night fall when we first we're alone together" I said looking up at Rashaa's beautiful eyes, "the night we became friends, but maybe he's more then the symbol of our friendship.. maybe he's the symbol of our-" I immediately was tugged into a kiss, my eyes widened like saucers, then they closed. We both let go of the small kiss, "love.." Rashaa said,

"A symbol of our love for each other"

"Josh?" Rashaa asked, "yeah?" I said

"I-I love you"

"I love you too"

WOOOOOOO!! Rashaa and Josh are together!! I was so excited to make this chapter, I had so many ideas for it!!
Nightfalls design if you didn't see it, he's turquoise black and not cyan black like Nighmare, he has a turquoise sparkle to him, making it look like he's glittering! That was his new design, originally he was a purple black Nighmare!bitty but I didn't think it matched with the name Nightfall which was the original name as well. So I made him a turquoise black (it's means he has a turquoise outline to him and his eye is turquoise) , glittery Nightmare hope you like the design!!
