Ha Yun dragged her luggage into her spacious shared hotel room with Mi Suk. Although her body was stiff from the travel from Washington to New York but she still needed to go for the staff's huddle meeting. She had to pinch herself to keep herself awake while she jotted down notes and masked the urge to yawn with vigorous nods at random discussion points.

As she walked back to her room with Mi Suk eager to rest, she passed through the level where BTS members were residing and a certain level of heated conversation traveled through one of the open doors. It got so loud that Mi Suk worried the members just got into an argument.

They both quickened their pace and caught the tail of the argument.

"You took my earphone without asking me!"

"I lost mine, so I just used yours. I will return it.

"Well, do you have it now?"

"No, I lost yours too."

"Now, we both lost things!"

"It is not my fault. I can't help but lose it."

"Now your problem becomes my problem?"

V noticed Ha Yun at the door.

"Noona, can you help advice, Namjoon. He keeps taking my things and losing them."

"Namjoon-shi, is it true?"

"Yes, but I will return it back'

"Did you ask to use it?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"I don't think I need to. We are very close. He is not using it too."

"No matter how close you are. Even if you share the same womb. If it doesn't belong to you, you can't just take it. You can't take what is not yours."

"It is no big deal. I will return it back or compensate it with money or even better things."

"I don't think that is the real issue here. The issue is that V lost his earphones because you took it without permission and a pair of earphones lost its owner."

Namjoon just stood there. His jaw was moving as he ground his teeth. He didn't like to be put in place but she can't stand injustice. Instead of being a fire she chose to be the water to break this stubborn piece of stone.

"Namjoon-shi do you remember you said to me once that you are always feeling lost? Like you don't belong? Like you have been taken away from where you are supposed to be? Like a part of you is missing?"

"Yes."

"That is the same feeling V is going through right now. Even the earphones are kinda sad being taken away from its owner."

Namjoon was silent and suddenly he got out of the room. He emerged a few minutes later with a few items in his arms.

"I am sorry I took these from you without asking. I am returning all these lost items to their rightful owners. V, I cannot find your earphones so I will get a new one for you."

After he said that, he went back to his room without any words.

Glad that peace once again descended on the BTS resident level, she headed back to her room. As she crossed a particular door, her sensitive ear picked up the sound of scuffling and rummaging from the room. The tell tale scent from the door indicated that it was Namjoon's room. She sighed as something pulled at her heart's string. She needed to stop worrying too much about this person. It was unprofessional for her to keep the attraction going and the more she involved herself with him, the more personal rules she found herself breaking.

She balled up her hands and planted her feet firmly forward to follow Mi Suk. The farther she walked away from Namjoon's door, the stronger the strings pulled at her heart and she had to push herself away harder. Her breaths came out in pants as the string tightened at her heart.

"What is wrong , Noona? You looked sick."

"Ah, it's okay. I am just tired. Go on ahead. I have to go somewhere first."

"Okay. If you don't feel good just call me. Just be careful."

Mi Suk left her in the hallway while she stood , her legs rooted on the marble floor. She knew she had to go forward but Namjoon's door kept pulling at her heart. A step forward would mean tearing at her own heart and she didn't have the energy to go on a wrestling match with her own emotion today.

As she turned and walked back to Namjoon's door, her steps were lighter and the tightness around her heart loosen. Instead of fighting against it, she just surrendered to the magnetic pull.
