"What do you want to do today?"

I glanced at him. "I don't know. Ikaw ba?"

He stood up and offered his hand. "I made plans."

"What will we do?"

I accepted his hand at dahan-dahan nya akong itinayo.

"Secret. Walang clue." Sabi nya. "Tara?"

I sighed then nodded. I took my bag from the sofa and followed him as he walked towards his car. Habang nasa loob kami ng kotse, he was holding my hand tightly, like he doesn't want to let go. After that, hahawakan nya ulit yung kamay ko. It was sweet, but it was also disturbing. He was quiet on the whole ride.

We arrived at the mall after that really quiet ride.

"So?" I asked Ken who was still holding my hand while his other hand was on his phone.

"I reserved seats for a movie." He said as he showed me the seats for the movie we will be watching.

"Anong movie?"

"You'll know later. But for now, kumain muna tayo. I'm sure you're hungry."

He led me to his favorite restaurant.

"The usual?"

Umiling ako. "I wanna try something new." Tumango sya bilang sagot.

He called the waiter and placed our orders. Ken was busy with his phone, while I looked around the place.

Kahit na nagbago ang design ng buong restaurant, the ambiance is still there. The feeling of something is always there. I still remember the first time we went here, we have to wait in line dahil sa sobrang dami ng tao. The second time we went here, akala ko pipila ulit kami, good thing nagpa-reserve si Ken beforehand.

My eyes were busy roaming around until it landed on Ken. I don't know why, but there's a pain in my heart everytime I see him. I didn't notice that I was staring at him for so long. I tried to smile para matago kung ano man ang nararamdaman ko.

"May dumi ba sa mukha ko?" Tawag-pansin sa akin ni Ken.

Umiling ako. "Wala. I find something amusing."

He leaned towards me with his hands under his chin. "What is it?"

I copied his gesture and smiled. "What did I like about you?"

He raised an eyebrow and chuckled. He then pinched my cheeks.

"Ano man ang nagustuhan mo sa akin, it doesn't matter anymore. Kasi pupwedeng mawala o magbago iyon. But there are things that will stay forever." He said smiling.

Ken is somehow a poet for me. He give me these 'read-between-the-lines' passages na parang gasgas na gasgas na. He gave me these butterflies that other people won't be able to give.

We both ate in silence. Cherishing the moment that's left for us.

When we reached the cinemas, Ken asked me if I want to eat anything, but I was full enough.

It was a cheesy love story that I was able to read the book noon pa. I didn't know na ginawa na pala itong movie. This story struck me really hard.
