CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

ALLEN’S POV:

We left the terrace and came down . I can still feel the heat .Even though I didn’t quite wanted to but I broke the trance. It was needed. Phew.. It’s not like anything changed but Xan’s last words keeps spinning in my head. Now we are going to Erik and Luvia’s  room. Erik and Luvia are chatting. As we enter their attention shifts.

“ Cupcake! Are you running a fever?” Erik says rushing to me and checking my temperature . “ No...your temperature is fine. Your face is flushed.” He says pinching my cheeks.

“ Your cupcake’s face is red for another genuine reason.” Luvia says as she softly snakes her hands around my waist and blinks at me.

“ Damn! So how far did you score bro?” Erik also copies Luvia’s move on Xander. Xan shoves him off like he has plague.

“ Count your own scores dickhead.” Xan replies with a shit eating grin. He has been grinning like a lottery winner since our hot session. Besides...who am I to complain. I have the shit eating grin too. Oops!

“ guys we have other matters to discuss. So drop the score thing now.” I sigh. God !

     “ Yeah we will but not until we get the juicy stuff.” Luvia adds. “ of course , you guys were acting like elementary school kids first time in love and suddenly you bang in bed . That’s a huge leap if u tell me.” Erik says and a growl from Xan is heard.

“ DAMN IT, WE KISSED. OK! We enjoyed hot, long ,sloppy, sexy, satisfying kiss.Nothing else. HAPPY NOW!!” I blunt out and hide my face in my palms. I can swear my face is now all red. I am so embarrassed right now.
Xan hugs me and I hide my face in his chest.

" It’s kisses, by the way." You really needed to correct that Xan! I hear bravo and aww as Erik and Luvia also joins the hug. It feels good. I feel warm. I feel safe.
“ This is family, Ell" I hear Xander whispering.
I open my eyes. I see Xan smiling warmly. I see Erik and Luvia holding each other ,smiling.
“ We are and always will be a family. So To family!” Erik says as he reaches his hand out.
Luvia takes it instantly and Xan follows behind. The three of them are holding their joined hands out for me. Waiting for me.
“ To family! And forever.” I give my hand and all our hands are now together as we are smiling at each other.

^AT MASSIMO’S MEETING ^

“ Ok ,so what are we dealing with now?” Han asks.
           We are now at one of uncle Massimo’s big ass houses. Han is also here but he is in a wheelchair, it must have been a major disc displacement. Oops!. My ribs do hurt but nothing I can’t bear. 

“ I want your help with finding out information about the facility that kidnapped us . And we need new identities temporarily.” I  reply.
              “What kind of facility?” uncle Massimo asks.

   “ To be honest uncle, we only know parts of it. We don’t know its origins. That’s why it’s better if you find something about it. It’s probably built in a hill. Right Erik?” I look at Erik.
“ Yeah. From the out it is camouflaged and the forest further helps to hide its where abuts.” Erik finishes.
      “ its almost 113 miles from where you picked us up from.” Xan conforms.

“ Uncle Massimo, Han ! You guys will have a lot to ask us after you find out about the facility. And then, we will answer everything. You must already know that it’s not any ordinary facility .”

“ Okay, sis. Anything else that can help us to dig up more from behind the curtains?” Han says. Han is someone who feeds on mystery. I can assure you that right now all he can focus on how to uncover this facility. Well...works for me. Moreover, Han is right. There must be more ways to find out about this facility.
