I mindlessly smacked the phone that was going off. The silence was like music to my ears as I turned over and buried my head in the pillow, letting out a sigh of content. As I was drifting off, that damned phone started going off again. Letting out a groan of annoyance, I sat up and shut off the phone; my sleep long gone.

Standing up, I stretched and yawned rather loudly. I proceeded to open the blinds, and the bright sunlight shone down on me. My comforter must have fallen onto the floor when I got up and being the clumsy person that I was; my foot got caught in it and the next minute I lay sprawled on the floor. Fortunately, the comforter cushioned my fall.

What a great way to start the day.

I had exactly one hour before my shift started which was plenty of time. First off, I needed to have a shower to freshen up and then I immediately changed into my 'uniform', so I didn't need to rush last minute because well, procrastination.

I sent Greyson a text telling him to be on time otherwise I would leave without him and I sat down to have my breakfast. Just as I was done, there was a knock on the door. I looked at the door in confusion, who could it be?

Peering through the peep-hole, I let out a sigh and opened the door. I should have expected him to show up.

A freshly showered and fruity smelling Greyson stood before me. His hair was still wet and like me, he was dressed in all black with a leather jacket which honestly made him look extremely sexy. He gave me a lopsided grin and subtly checked me out as well. I cleared my throat waiting for him to say something.

"Aren't you going to let me in?" He asked cheekily.

"I told you not to be late, but that didn't mean I expected you to show up extra early." I said, opening the door and letting him inside.

"Eh, I was bored." He smiled down at me. His scent invaded my senses. Watermelon and his cologne.

"So, you came early for fun?" I asked incredulously.

"You're plenty fun. Don't put yourself down like that." He teased. "I didn't have anything else to do, so yeah..." He said and patted my head before making himself at home. I scoffed at him.

"What?"

"Nothing. Did you have breakfast?" I asked so I wouldn't have to suffer the awkward silence that I was sure would ensue.

"Yup, I already had something before coming here." He said as he propped his feet up on the coffee table.

"Oi, feet off the coffee table." I said and shoved his feet down. He grinned at me sheepishly as I stared down at him with arms crossed over my chest.

"You didn't have anything to eat." I declared and bent down to his eye-level. He looked ahead and ignored me. Just then his stomach rumbled and I chuckled at him.

Red tinted his cheeks as I got up, "It seems like I got my answer. Don't worry, I'll make you something." I began to walk away, but stopped when I heard him.

"I was eager to see you and maybe spend sometime with you, that is why I came early. That's the truth." He said softly. My heart raced in my chest on hearing him, and I was speechless. I walked away from there and took refuge in the kitchen. I placed a hand over my racing heart as I stood in shock, he had caught me off guard again.

Damn that boy and his smooth talking.

After quickly putting something together, I collected myself and entered the living room; Greyson was gazing at one of the photo frames that hung on my wall. That particular photo was the aftermath of Jacob, Caleb and I trying to get a proper picture together, but somehow all of our attempts ended up looking like trash.
