Chapter 18

Y/n's POV

I awaken from my sleep, due to the sound of rain. It was raining like hell outside. I strangely felt very tired and had a headache. I roll off of bed & pass my hand through my hair as I walk to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face & headed downstairs. "Ew, tomorrow theres school." I thought to myself. "Matt?" I called out. Nothing.

I walk over to the kitchen & try to find a sight of Matt. He wasn't there either. I try going to the backyard & I spot Burnie & Matt playing by the grass. I stare in awe at the sight.

Matt throws the ball over by the tree & burnie chases after it. He picks up the ball & puts it down in front of Matt. I suddenly felt a wave of fatigue hit me. I felt clumsy for a second. Maybe I was hungry, I did just wake up. I walk over to Matt. "Macheww." I say, giving him a kiss.

"Y/n. How'd you sleep babe? Your head feeling good?" He asked pulling away. "Yeah, I slept very good actually." I continued. "I feel very tired though and I have a headache." I say making a sad face. "Aww would you like me to make you some pancakes?" Matt frowned, sounding like a 5 year old. "I would love that." I grinned. He kisses my forehead & we walk inside. "Burnie, cmere boy." Matt calls. Burnie follows inside & Matt begins making my pancakes.

"Today we gotta pack my things." I state, watching matt take out the pancake mix. "We? " Matt chuckles. "Well then i'll do it myself." I say crossing my arms. "Alrighty." He simply says. "Fine." I exclaim pretending to be mad. "I was playing, of course ill help you." He faces me & tries kissing the tip of my nose. I back away & he frowns. "Just for tricking me, your sleeping alone tonight." I smirked. His mouth slightly opens.

"What?! Whyyy?" He groans. "Hmm, maybe you shouldnt have tricked me." I grin. "Pfft, i could sleep on my own. Don't worry about me." He says flipping his arm sarcastically, flipping the pancake on the pan. "We'll see how that goes." I say. "If anything, you'll come crawling back to me." He mumbles. I could hear the smirk in his voice. "Nah, ill be fine." I assure him. He just chuckles. He gives me the plate of pancakes and I start eating.

I go into Matts room & toss out a grey hoodie with the words, "I woke up like this" in black, black leggings, & a pair of high white converse. I let my hair flow naturally & i put a grey beanie over it. I grab my phone and head downstairs. "Matt change your clothes, we're picking my stuff in a bit." I say, heading to the kitchen counter, taking a pill & drinking it. My headache wasnt getting any better.

Matt was sitting in the couch watching Family Guy. I sat down next to him & support my head with my hand on my cheek.

He turns facing me & stares at me. Was there something on my face? I saw him in the corner of my eye. "Matthew Lee, stop staring at me." I say, still looking at the tv. "Sorry babe, you just look really cute." He grins. I look down and blush, fiddling with the hem of my hoodie. He stands up & walks upstairs. Minutes later, he comes back downstairs with a white loose shirt accompanied by a skinny gold necklace, black pants, fila combat boots & a black snapback. I stood up & embraced him in a hug.

He sighs into my neck & we let go. We stare at each other as we both lean in. The kiss lasted about 5 seconds until we parted from each other."Cmon." He quickly says heading outside. We go out & make our way to my house.

We arrived and we start taking all my stuff & putting it in the suitcase. I grab all my clothes & some of the stuff in my room. I went to the bathroom & grab all the stuff i use for my hair, makeup, etc. I look over the sink & notice... My blade is still on the ground after this long. I pick it up & examine it, taking back all the memories. I havent self harmed in so long because of Matt. He cares for me & i care for him. I would do anything for him. I frown & throw it away.
