Chapter 17

Alex's POV

They ran faster than an animal on all fours  according to what my eyes could see,fought like vicious hungry animals and their bodies were dripping sweat to show how intense the fights they held among them were.These men were huge,muscular and tall and now I understood why fighting with dangerous weapons such as bows,arrows,spears and daggers sound like a game to them.

"Hau hau"Dumi shouted,"hau"the men answered,"hau hau" Dumi shouted again,"hau" the man answered,"on the ground 120 for me", in a second the men were on the ground doing seat ups,"up six on six",they stood up, went and got tires the size of a tractor on ropes and the started running with them six rounds each back and forth in only shorts.l could see why these man were so reaped its because they trained intensely. "hau hau","hau","hau hau","hau".Ok gentlemen training ends early today we will go for hunting at the begging of the sun set,dismissed".

Since I was hiding behind a very big rock to see all the training I started climbing down as soon as they finished.The moment my foot hit the ground the hairs at the back of my neck lifted and I felt uncontrollable sparks,it felt good like a man was touching me in a passionate way so I immediately knew who it was turning  around i gave him a goofy smile."Good morning Vusi","what are you doing here?",that sounded stupid I know, but that's what came up in my head OK,so don't judge me.He looked me with a very serious face,might i say he looked really good in the morning, he was shirtless wearing only shorts which meant he had gone for a run,he started drinking water and everything turned into slow motion,the way he made a sound when he swallowed the water,the way his adams apple moved and when he poured some of the water on his body my girly parts went wild, yeah he is really sexy I know right,shut up I said to my inner thoughts.

"Excuse me"his deep voice alarms me,oooh  my what in the ships and sailors,I said it out loud I'm so stupid!!."I aaah,I'm sooo sorry I didn't mean to say it out loud, it's just that my mind was saying stupid things and I was getting so annoyed so that happened I'm really sorry", he just looked at me like I was crazy for a moment then his face was back to being serious like nothing happened a few seconds ago so I continued,"I aaah, i heard some noices at six o'clock in the morning in my sleeping quarters, so I came to check who was making the noises and I found out its the warriors training.He laughed,"what's so funny?","you are","how?"I asked."You mean all the way from the women sleeping quarters you heard the warrior noises, and came to check them out"."Are you that fascinated with seeing black man?"he laughed,"you should have waited till you go to work they are more black male doctors there".

I was furious I wanted to slap him but he caught my hand mid air, pressed me onto the wall of the rock I had just climbed down from.We were so close I could feel his heart beating but I think mine was beating ten times faster and oooh my sweet tooth him being shirtless made it worse for me.Don't you even dare try my patience young lady, me tolerating you doesn't mean I like you and the next time you disrespect me he then clenched he jaw which was really sexy as hell, OoooK back to anger he looked really mad which confused me now cause I was the one who should have been  super mad with the insult he just made, I decided to answer him anyway. "For your own information Vusi you insulted me without even hearing my side of the story,I have a man,he loves me to the moon and back and if you notice I have I ring on my hand", I said showing him my ring finger,"so I don't care about these men at all". I noticed his eyes change color quick like from a light shade of brown to black,"and one more thing the reason I came here is I was curious and also I sleep in the male hunters quarters".

He looked mad still, clenched his jaw for the second time and looked in my eyes with an intimidating look but I didn't wanna back down so I looked at him straight in the eyes too."Holy switches!!what a blessed morning","Alex I'm looking for you and you out here making out with my brother behind a rock,are you serious??, my work day is just gonna be fiiiiiine". Vusi left my hand turned around looked at his sister and said "Tinashe", she replied by saying "Vusi", then he nodded his head and left jogging."What in the pixie world was that?","what do you mean", I asked,"you and my brother","no no no nothing  is going on I just made him angry that's all".I Know my brother he would have sent you for hearing straight  without even blinking, no one messes with that boy and walks free without paying for it, but instead he was cornering you like he's about to kiss you and the way you were looking at each other anybody who would have walked by would think you were about to do something nasty"."What?!!, it wasn't like that". "Then what was it like?"she asked laughing,"aaagh I don't know Tina","exactly that's what I thought, anyway let's hurry up we late for work".She grabbed my hand then we rushed to my sleeping quarters.

In 45minutes time we where at work and I was introduced to other doctors who were male and the female doctors were only Tinashe and me.In another department where doctors who healed people using herbal medication only from trees,roots,leaves and leaves and in there were three male traditional doctors who were really old by the way and one who was only 17i  mean he looked like he was 17.We worked along very well for the day and must I say it was the first day I really enjoyed work without any hustles or drama well except with Mr Rude in the morning, aside from that I was good,by the end of the day we decided to go home,"bye everyone", me and Tinashe said and the moment we stepped out a young boy came running towards us with two roses that were black and yellow and handed them to me,"thank you very much these are beautiful where did you get them?"," at the river and since you dreamt about them last night I thought I would give them to you", he said with a cute mean face.Wait a minute cute and mean face, that's the face I saw last night in my dreams, the pixie's face, the moment I looked again he was gone."Where did the boy go",I asked Tinashe, "kids you know how they are he just ran off,maybe he's shy,let's go I'm hungry" she replied,"yeah me too".
