Alex's POV
The moment I group texted Amara and Christiana that we needed to talk they immediately video called."Girl wassup" they both said at the same time,"did you miss your period?", Amara asked with panic written all over her face,I spit the water that I was drinking then answered her "what no how could you even think of that?",I asked her shocked by her thoughts,"because you and Lucas would do it all the time", she answered with sass,I rolled my eyes,"girl whatever I'm not pregnant".
"Are you giving up already?, oooooh my goodness i thought you were the one that made better decisions among us all", Christina said putting her whole face on her screen as if we could not see her better already,"girl please I could never give up on my job I love it so much,I never knew helping save a life could be this refreshing",I said with an all dreamy expression.
"So what is it are you sick,have you been promoted,are the people being bullies to you what is it girl?",Amara asked her face back on panic mode."No Amara I'm fine, if you two will just let me speak geez", but Christina didn't let me finish.
"Wait a minute are you and Luca having problems?, cause if he treating my girl like trash ama go to his house right now and kick his ass like I been ready since day one",Christina said standing up."No wait it's not all of that it's this place,the people and me I don't know anymore", I said looking away.
"Amara automatically went into big sister mode baby what's wrong?",she put aside the cup of tea she had been drinking aside."There is this this guy",I said to them and they all gasped, I knew exactly what they were thinking.
"It's not what you are thinking,he didn't do anything wrong to me or whatever before you plan on coming here and murdering him,the thing is I think i am deeply,insanely attracted to this guy,and I don't know anymore,it seems like he's leading me on too,and we almost kissed today,and yesterday,and he's just so aaagh i don't know".
"Ooooh my god", they both said at the same time."what's he like ,is he sexy and tall like you said all men where down there?", Christina asked grinning like she was seeing jason Statham shirtless for the first time geez.
"Is he dark like that dark melted chocolate you talked about a few days ago?",Amara asked sipping her tea again,wasn't that shit cold already I thought to myself.
"Guys,guys that's not the point,the point is I have a man I'm engaged to who loves me and I love him,but not madly attracted to him as I am attracted to this guy,what should I do",I gave them my best panic face.
"Well ummmm this is too much tea for me I'm still trying to figure it out cause one I know is you have never been attracted to another guy except Luca,so this is scary",Amara said making noisy sips from her tea mug.
"And to be honest I'm really deeply surprised right now, like you was always the Mary of the group,not the other way round,just give me the night to process this because I will be lying if I tell you what I'm thinking right now is some real advice",Christina said rubbing her forehead in circular motion,"please do help me I can't think straight ,anyways it feels suffocating in here lemme take a walk good night girls",I said standing up,"night",they said in unison then I switched everything of and went outside.
Even though it's really windy outside its refreshing to be here,I followed small lights that light up the whole area,why did they even need lights for out here the stars and the moon shine bright enough out here.As I walk down the path way I start singing to destruct myself from what has been happening lately,I think I had walked for a while because I couldn't see any lights or even the sleeping quarters anymore.
The place i ended up in was surrounded by bushes and trees really tall trees,it looked a bit creepy too and since I couldn't hear nor see anything I decided my walk ends here let me go back home, that's when I heard a sound coming from behind a bush,"hello is anyone there?", I asked then no one replied so I thought maybe its an animal so I continued walking.When something passed by me with so much speed it scared me I increased my speed in walking when an old man appeared from nowhere and stood in front of me,"hello little one what are you doing out here all alone?".
I would have thought the man was here to save me if he didn't look really creepy,"I don't mean no trouble sir I'm just going back home", I said backing away terrified.He gave me a creepy smile showing black teeth filled with blood,I felt sick to the stomach instantly.
"Well,well if you wanna go back home you will have to play a game with me,but first you see I'm too old and I'm blind so let me invite my friends", he said putting two fingers in his mouth then whistled,in less than a second four more old people were all in front of me and they looked dirty and disgusting some had blood on their dirty clothes,"what is it Thempo?,a woman at the far end asked looking at the man who had called them,"I just found this young one walking in the dark alone so she wants to play a game back home".
"No,no please I don't wanna play, whatever game you psychos have in mind, I just wanna go home",I said backing away from them. "Fine fine we won't let you play the game but if we catch you we playing",one man on the group answered,"now run", I didn't wait for anymore explanations I took off running just like that just as I started seeing the lights and I thought I was safe back home one of the old people appeared from nowhere and stood in front of me,"too slow", he said before lifting me by my neck and throwing me like a very light ball,I felt the wind as I flew past trees and landed on a huge tree truck where I hit my head.
"Humans are pathetic",one said lifting me again and throwing me like I was nothing and this time I landed into a body of water.Before I could even move a limp I was pulled out and thrown again and this time I land on a pile of thorn bushes I was weak but I cried for someone to save me my body hurt and I was wondering by now why I haven't blacked out already.
My eyes where begging to close when they all surrounded me,"ok the game is over gentleman, let's not play with our meal I have other things to do", the man who attacked me first said while touching my pulse and said "she is not ready yet,let's play the game one more time", when from nowhere his body was slashed into two halfs and a sword fell on top of me I tried to move but I couldn't.
I was still hanging in there eyes opened when whoever my savior was fought against those creepy old demons and one buy one they went down with spears and arrows piercing through their body's. When I heard a voice that was all so comforting and soothing to my ears saying you are ok now that's when i knew who the voice behind that hero was so i whispered "I knew you would save me",before i blacked out.
Another chapter finished so Alex talks to her girls then gets attacked at night while taking a walk what happens next let's see,its about to go down like 😁...till next time❤😘.
