A drake oneshot

Jake trembles as he places a crimson hand onto Drew's tear stained cheek.
He smiled, "Sing to me."
"I-i, we need to get you to a hospital." Drew stammers, gripping onto the blood soaked hand of his lover.
"It's a lost cause."
"No it isn't!"
"Sing me a song, I want to die happy in your arms." Jake sighed as he rests his head in Drew's lap, gazing at the love of his life.
Drew releases a shaky breath.

You Are My Sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are grey

Drews glossy tears were now pouring, trickling down his face and onto Jake's cheek.

You'll never know, dear
How much I love you

Jake smiles in content as his lover sang him the bittersweet lullaby that lingered in his childhood.

So please don't take my sunshine away...

Jake chuckles warmly, "That wasn't so hard was it."
Drew remains silent, he eventually places a kiss onto the peach tipped man's forehead, running a hand through Jake's hair as the other remains intertwined with his dying lover's hand.
"I love you my sunshine...." Drew manages to murmur raspily through muffled sobs.

"I love you too."

It fell silent, not the kind that leaves you in a state of pure serenity. No. This one was an agonizing silence, the one he loves dead in his arms.

The sun finally decided to set.
