i looked at him and his face had guilt written all over it.
"it was you who walked into the bathroom?" he asked walking ever to me.
"uh yeah." i said while slowly looking up. i met his gaze, it was sad, depressed almost.
"i am sorry. it's just the way i am uh- coping." he blurted out. i bursted out laughing.
he looked at me weirdly before started to laugh nervously.
"you told me that i didn't have to worry about heather. and i found you screwing her in the girls bathroom." i managed to get out between laughs, and then i began to tear up.
"you broke up with me over text, then you cope by fucking my friend." i say as a tear roles down my cheek.
"paisley are you ok-" he started.
"no! i am not fucking okay!" i yell while swinging my car door open.
"wait paisley!" vinnie says running up to the window. i roll it down and ask, "what more could you possibly want vin?"
"i am moving to LA with a group called the sway boys..." he blurts out. i look at him and start to cry more.
"LA?! your moving to LA?! WHAT ABOUT SCHOOL? what about our life plan?!" i say without thinking.
"paisley, i wanted you to come, but then i stupidly broke up with you. i guess i thought if you hated me, it would be easier to leave, but i want you to come as my best friend! like the old days. please paisley, come live at the sway house with me!" vinnie says while cupping my face through the window. i look into his eyes and smile, fuck no smiling. i haven't smiled for like three days. okay but this would be fun.
"vinnie- i need time to think." i say opening the car door.
"i saw the way you forced yourself not to smile pais. please come with me." he begged.
"i'd have to ask my parents." i sigh.
"i already did." he replied fast.
"fine." i say quickly. what have i done.
i have loved you since we were 4.
he smiles and pushes me back into my car. he hurries over to the passenger seat and tells me to go to the gas station.
