after school, felix invited jisung to go the café with them. jisung had to politely decline, as he was scared of what his father would do to him if he was late again. he walked home quickly, barely in the right state of mind when he said goodbye to his friends.

"what do you think is bothering him?" jeongin asked, looking up at chan with big puppy dog eyes.

"i don't know. i'm worried for him." chan sighed as he looked down at the sad boy who was hugging his arm.

"who cares? if there was something bothering him it's not your business. if he wanted you to know if anything was wrong, he'd tell you. can we stop talking about him for once, jesus! it's always jisung this, jisung that! I HATE HIM!" minho snapped and everyone looked at him wide-eyed.

jisung, who was right around the corner, froze. he was going back because he forgot something in his locker, but he froze when he heard he was the topic of conversation. he couldn't help but get shaky and start crying when he heard minhos tone of voice and the things he said.

jisung silently walked past them and to his locker, not daring to look up or say a word. felix tried to call out to the boy, but he just kept walking.

"damn you minho!" felix was beyond pissed now. he punched his locker to avoid punching minho. as jisung walked back past them, felix stood in front of him. he wrapped the crying boy in a hug, but was gently pushed off.

"jisung! wait please." felix begged. jisung stopped walking and turned around to face the group.

"i-i'm sorry. i have to go now. my dad needs me home." he sniffled as he turned around and just kept walking.

the group watched the boy walk off and as soon as he was out of sight, they all turned to face minho.

"what?" minho asked innocently.

"what do you have against the kid, seriously?" chan asked him calmly.

"i don't see why i have to justify hating someone. just because you're all friends with him, it doesn't mean i want to be!"

"no one said you have to be his friend, just show him basic human respect minho! how were your raised in a rich family and you have no manners?"

"i use my manners when i think someone deserves my respect."

"WHAT THE HELL HAS HE EVER DONE TO YOU? WHAT THE FUCK HAS HE DONE TO NOT DESERVE RESPECT?" felix interrupted minho and chans conversation, finally losing his cool.

"HES JUST A FUCKING HUMAN BEING HYUNG. HES NOT PERFECT. WE ARE NOT PERFECT. NOBODY IS PERFECT, AND IF YOU THINK YOU ARE THINK AGAIN HYUNG. YOU CANT EVEN SHOW THE POOR BOY BASIC RESPECT."

"felix i'm not in the mood for your shit right now. i'll see you guys tomorrow."

with that minho walked away. he quickly walked out of the building and to his driver.

while jisung was walking home, he couldn't help but feel worse about himself. am i really not good enough? am i really that worthless? fuck! i mean, i hate me too, but he doesn't even know me!

when he got home, he noticed his dads car wasnt in the driveway. that's weird he's normally waiting for me. he walked into his house and to no surprise, his dad wasn't home. he took this opportunity to grab a sandwich to eat so he wouldn't completely starve tonight. he saw a note on the fridge, his dad was on a business trip. that doesn't happen as often as you'd think.

he wasn't really hungry but he knew he needed to eat, so he forced himself to eat the sandwich.

minho returned home to an empty house, his parents were gone on another business trip. he angrily stomped to his room, throwing his bag down.

"young master, you should come eat." the lee family's maid, somin, said politely.

"i'm not hungry right now!" minho complained.

"okay i understand" and with that she left.

minho hurriedly did his homework and then went to sleep.

the next day at school, jisung avoided everyone at all costs. during lunch he went to the roof, sitting this time curled up in the corner. he put in his headphones and played his playlist. he began crying, overthinking everything.

i'm so..worthless. i knew minho hyung hates me but hearing him say it, sounding so...angry? disgusted? whatever it was, hurt. this is my chance. just get up and jump jisung.

jisung got up, looking over the edge of the roof. the roof door opened and six boys started yelling after him, trying to get his attention. he couldnt, his music was too loud. the seventh boy watched from afar, studying jisungs every move.

jisung put one leg up on the edge, pulling himself to stand up. suddenly he felt six pairs of arms wrap around him and pull him down. out of reflex, he curled up into fetal position and started sobbing harder.

his headphones fell out and now all he heard was the six boys heavy breathing. minho stood at the back, a look of guilt plastered on his face as he tried to hide how he truly felt about the small boy.

"jisung, jisung breathe, it's okay." chan tried to calm the boy.

felix and hyunjin looked over at minho, beyond pissed.

"i'm sorry. i'm sorry. i'm sorry. i'm sorry..." jisung kept repeating. "LET ME SEE MY MOM! I WANT TO BE WITH MY MOM! I NEED MY MOM!" he started screaming.

none of the boys knew what he meant but decided now wasn't the time to ask.

"jisung..why did you...?"felix asked softly.

"I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!"

"take what, sungie?"

"i-ill tell you when i'm more comfortable with you guys." he rolled to lay on his side, zoning out.

"MINHO YOU ASS!" hyunjin stood up and marched over to the boy, punching him in the face. minho just simply left. he walked away, and off the roof. he doesn't know why he started crying, and since no one saw him, he'd never admit he did.

he ran home, skipping the rest of the day. he felt horrible and he didn't like it. he couldn't pinpoint why he was feeling like this, but he hated it.
