All Merlin's friends are dead. What do they do in the Afterlife? Wait for him.
The first one there was Will.
Then Freya.
Then Balinor.
Then Lancelot.
Recognizing each other as Merlin's friend, they all sat around in a group, and waited.
Only Lancelot knew it was pointless.
Next came Daegal.
"I know he has magic." So they admitted him in the group, listening as he told his story.
Elyan came next, and they only let him in because he recognized Lance.
"Hey, Lance!" Lancelot nodded, and hugged his friend.
"What are you doing?" "Waiting for Merlin."
"And Arthur?" "Sure."
After a while Gwaine came.
And they waited.
Morgana came, sneering.
"Go Arthur!!" The knights shouted.
"What are you talking about? Merlin killed me."
Silence.
Arthur came.
"Some war." Will remarked, laughing. Everyone glared at him.
"Ughh! How could I been so stupid!" Arthur yelled, looking at the people he never met.
Balinor cracked a smile. "It's called; Density in the human mind."
"Merlin has magic? I would have never guessed." "Wait, what?"
They filled the knights in.
"Idiots!" Morgana cheered from somewhere.
Gilli came next, having died from old age.
He nodded, and sat down, conjuring a fire with his eyes.
Gaius went, and sat next to Balinor.
Hunith.
Gwen.
Leon.
Percival.
And they waited.
And waited.
And Lance squirmed and squirmed, wanting to tell everyone.

"He's not coming." Lance finally spurted out.
Arthur laughed. "Of course he is."
"No."
His face fell.
"Merlin's immortal. He is known as the greatest sorcerer to walk the earth. He's known as Emrys." Balinor's face fell as he recognized the name. "He is not coming."
"Idiots!" Morgana yelled from somewhere.
