Another like the Trio. Because Merlin needs real friends that understand him. *Starts crying*

The three sat around the fire, ignoring the group of knights, who where joking about... Well, they didn't know.

The spoke in their heads, not wanting uninvited to join their conversation.

Merlin?

Yes, Mordred?

Do you want to play stones?

No.

What's stones?

Morgana, no.

It's a game where you hold a stone in your hands, and it'll write a name that you have to throw it at.

The last time we played this, we all got cuts.

It's better than playing Kissing Stones.

I don't know any of these games.

That's a good thing, Morgana.

Or we can go join the jokers.

I call that.

Merlin, have some fun! Arthur can survive a day.

We can continue this conversation over there, I don't trust Arthur with that stick.

Sure enough, Arthur managed to set fire on his clothes and stick because he played to close.

Merlin brought over the already prepared water.

"Told you so." He called over his shoulder. Arthur huffed.

Morgana and Mordred sighed, and came over.

"What where you guys doing over there?" Gwaine asked, chomping on his 4th apple.

"We where about to play stones."

"No."

"Merlin, please?"

"Remember what happened to Lancelot?"

"Now that you say it, we probably shouldn't."

The knights looked to each other. "What happened to Lancelot?"

Neither of them answered.

Morgana looked up. "Wait. Was that the time Lancelot walked by drunk and looked like he been through a war?"

Merlin nodded. "We drank so much that we agreed to the game."

He winced. When he become sober again, he was dressed in a clown costume, as well as multiple cuts on his arms and legs.

Mordred just smirked. "How about we play Koster instead?"

Both Morgana and Merlin blushed. "No."

Arthur looked at the knights, who where as confused as he was.

"What's Koster?"

"It's a d-Adult game, where you drink as much ale, then someone draws cards about what they do. There's more to it, but that's the simplest version."

Arthur nodded, not aware that Mordred was about to say Druid. "Why are they blushing, then?"

Mordred you say anything, and I'm revealing your heritage.

Then I'll reveal yours.

MORDRED.

"Their blushing because they got more drunk than they wanted to."

The knights didn't understand.

"I dared them to drink more, and when I left to get more ale..."

"MORDRED YOU TELL THEM I'M SENDING YOU BACK TO YOUR-"

Everybody stared at Morgana. "Room."

Mordred only chuckled. "Well, both drunk, they did something they would have never done sober."

Merlin glowered.

"What did they do?" Asked Gwaine.

"Well, when I came back, they where snogging, having revealed their feelings while drunk." Mordred continued, ignoring the threats coming from Morgana and Merlin.

Merlin stood up. "Your going back to your father."

"My father's dead. That's like asking you where's daddy." Mordred said, a little defensively.

Morgana winced.

Mordred realized what he said. "Oh shoot. Sorry, Merlin. I overreacted."

Merlin didn't seem to hear him.

Morgana stood up. "It's okay Merlin. At least you met him."

Merlin's hands closed into fists.

Morgana turned to the knights. "You should run."

They didn't, wanting to hear some drama.

"You don't know what it's like. Meeting him, and unable to tell anyone. Not able to prove that I'm not a bastard, because if I did, I'd be hanged."

Mordred winced. "Merlin, I'm sorry."

Morgana walked over to Merlin, who was staring into the fire.

"We know."

Merlin looked over to her. "Yes."

Gwaine spoke up. "You told me your father died shortly after you met him."

Arthur looked to the drunken knight.

Merlin looked over to the knight as well. "Yes. He died in my arms."

The knights looked down.

Mordred walked over to his friend. "I didn't mean it."

Merlin smiled at the druid. "I know. I accept your apology."

Morgana exhaled.

"We all lost our fathers. I'm sorry for overreacting."

Mordred smiled sadly at the warlock. "It's fine. We didn't lose our fathers that way."

Merlin looked over at his friend. "You did."

"Yes, but execution isn't like being hunted down half the country."

Merlin smiled. "And then being killed by bandits."

Arthur spoke up. "Execution? Mordred where? And Merlin... Banished?"

"My father was a druid." Mordred spoke up.

"And mine a dragonlord." Merlin added, feeling bold.

Arthur's mouth feel open. "Balinor?"

Merlin nodded, looking down.

"Great. Now that we established that, can we please talk about how the Mergana ship is sailing?!" Gwaine said, but nobody responded.
