Title says it all, probably not Mergana.

Arthur made Druids legal in Camelot.

It wasn't Albion, but it was close.

Merlin was smiling all day.

Until the last meeting of the day.

Standing behind Arthur, Merlin watched as a druid walked in, the one the others elected to speak to the king.

The druid looked behind Arthur, and met eyes with Merlin.

Oh no

The druid's mouth fell open, and bowed. Deeply.

Arthur nods. "You don't need to bow."

Merlin rolled his eyes.

The druid (Trugen was his name) kept bowing, before lifting his head up.

"My lord, it is a honor to meet you."

Merlin looked down.

Arthur stared. "We can begin the treaty..."

The druid man didn't move, wanting permission from Emrys himself to continue.

Merlin shifted. Why did the druids have such an honor to him?

He caught Gaius laughing at the predicament he was in.

Arthur cleared his throat. "You may stand."

The druid looked over to him. "It is not your permission I need, sire."

Arthur raised his eyebrow.

The druid bowed back down.

This was stupid. Merlin shifted more.

The druid was making a fool of himself. All for his permission.

"You can get up." Arthur tried again.

Merlin exhaled.

The druid didn't move.

"I grant you the permission to continue the treaty." Merlin said loudly, half-wondering if he should have talked in the Druid's mind. But to late now.

The druid looked up. "Thank you, my lord."

Arthur's mouth dropped.

"What?"

Merlin winced.

"Long story."
