"I told y'all about this shit! When they was kids and couldn't take a shit without one another I told y'all that shit wasn't normal, and y'all wanted to lie to y'all's damn selves. Now this lil boy is out here shooting niggas in they ass. And that shit started soon as Rio skipped town too. Don't think I ain clock that." Quincy complained bitterly.

Sebby scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. "You're just mad because you don't like what you're seeing in the mirrow you're looking at."

"You finna give yourself a stroke if you don't calm your old ass down. They grown and it ain't even like that. It's innocent." Rico contributed.

Qani overheard his dads and his uncle arguing one fine morning on his way to the kitchen, and best believe he took his ass right back out the door and into the pool house, undetected. And yeah he'd finally moved his shit in there.

He'd got in a fight at the club the previous night. But to be fair he did warn the nigga who was in there doing the most to leave peacefully, it wasn't his fault that niggas wanted to front what they wasn't, and treat women poorly like that was the move. Qani had two sisters he was very protective of and he sure as hell wasn't gon sit there and watch a lame mistreat a female in his club. That was a bitch move. Any nigga who mistreated, or beat on a female was a whole bitch and then some. No one could convince him otherwise.

But his pops wanna sit there and complain about his bad behavior as if he wouldn't do worse for less. He was tempted to tell his old man that his hypocrisy was shinning brighter than them grays he tried to hide. But he had enough on his plate already, he wasn't tryna add more.

The fact that they were all convinced he was broken and needed fixing pissed him the fuck off the most. He didn't need fixing, what he needed was to feel something again.

Over the past two months It didn't matter what he did, he couldn't feel nothing but numbness.
He was fucking hella people on the daily, punching out níggas and smoking round the clock, trying to feel something, but it was like despite what he did and how many ass and pussy he got he couldn't feel better, he couldn't feel anything at all. He felt empty.

Anyway, it was his papa's 40th birthday and there was going to be a huge party at the crib later in the day, and Qani was just gonna help his papa set up the best he could and dip. He didn't wanna see nor talk to anyone, and socializing was absolutely out of the question.

A voice at the back of his mind reminded him that he was going to see Ri for the first time in two months, but he quickly silenced that voice and walked into the shower. He truly didn't give a fuck. If he could go one week knowing Rio was back and didn't see him, one evening wasn't gonna make a difference.

"Can I stay for the party?" Beau asked after letting Qani's dick slip outta his mouth for a moment, dragging Qani's attention back to reality.

"Nah." Qani replied before shoving his dick back into the male's mouth.

He held Beau's head still, and fucked his throat aggressively. Chasing a high he hadn't felt in a minute, chasing that feeling he got that one night that snuck up on him and messed him up in the head. He wasn't gonna stop chasing that feeling until he felt it again.

4 missed calls

Rio panicked when he got yet another missed call from his dad. He guessed it was his own fault for informing the man that he needed to talk to him about something important, now he was being harassed with calls and text messages asking where he was.

He arrived at the party a little later than he'd intended, he had been out with Omar, Kiara, Letitia'Marie, Harlem, and TJ.
Omar and Harlem were on the same team and they had a team bonding thing after practice.
Long story short, TJ had convinced Rio to bring everyone to the party.
It was a big party after all and everyone was going to be there, so no one had to be introduced.
That was according to TJ anyway.

But if Rio was being honest, he only agreed to do that because he needed a little help staying away from Qani tonight. He hadn't seen him in so long. They'd never been apart this long before and he wasn't sure how he was going to handle himself when the time came.

As soon as they got into the compound Rio ditched them and tried to track down his parents in the huge crowd. Lucky for him it didn't take too long to find them, but unlucky for him uncle Quincy was there as well. He wanted to talk to his parents about the serial killer theory he was nursing, but the last thing he wanted was to set his uncle off, at his husband's party at that.

He greeted his uncle and his pops, then turned to his dad looking all apologetic. "Sorry, I got caught up." He apologized.

"You're sorry." Ring repeated flatly. "You couldn't reply one text? How many times I gotta tell you about doing irresponsible shit like that? With all that's going on, what you expect me to think when you don't respond to nothing?" He sounded calm but Rio knew better.

Rio looked to his pops for assistance, but Rico huffed and said. "Don't look at me, you be doing the same shit to me, and it's annoying as hell."

Wow, it's like that? Rio thought. The betrayal.
His uncle was no help either, so he guessed he was on his own.

Looking back to his dad he pouted a little bit, knowing that worked every single time. "My bad dad. I messed up, I'm sorry for real." He tried again. This time Ring's expression softened. He nodded and hugged his son.

Thinking on his feet, Rio seized that opportunity to whisper into his father's ear. "I don't wanna talk in-front of unc, but can we talk tomorrow? Please."

Ring frowned for a second, obviously worried about what that was about. But in the end he nodded.

Rio rejoined his friends shortly after that.
They sat to a corner and drank, smoked and danced.
Well, everyone but himself did.
He was too busy trying not to look out for any sign of Qani. He sat between Omar and Leti who were yapping away in his ears, but all Rio could think about was where the fuck Qani was at. He hadn't caught a single glimpse of his cousin the entire time he'd been here.
But he guessed that was what he wanted, so wasn't tripping.

Had to split this chapter in two cos it was getting mad long. Them long chapters be stressful to edit, and I hate typos lol.
So if I don't get lost on some useless twitter bs, imma edit and post the second half in an hour or less.
