((Trigger warning: Panic attack-ish))

K.C.: *eyes widen as she sees another notification pop up on her Fly Pad* Guys! We have another question! *stands up*

Pip: *still sitting beside the sick flamingo wrapped in even more blankets* Who's it for?

K.C.: *walks over to the two of them* It's for you, actually

Freddy: Good *groans* My head hurts so much... *closes his eyes* I wanna—

Pip: *eyes widen as a million possible scenarios flash through his mind* Freddy, are you okay?

K.C.: Yeah *shrugs* He's probably just sleeping *smiles sympathetically* I know I get super sleepy and lazy whenever I get sick, and I'm prone to sleep without letting anyone know

Pip: *releases a small sigh of relief but still looks anxiously at the flamingo while trying to remember what he was supposed to do before that and concentrate* Who's it from?

K.C.: *sits down as she checks the Fly Pad* It's from maple_h0ney *hands it over to the penguin*

Pip: *takes the Fly Pad and feels his wings shake but is actually holding it steadily* It says... *ignores everything but the few words lit up on the screen* Do you remember the first word you said?

Pip: *furrows his eyebrows as his head begins to whirl* Huh? That's confusing. First word I said where? In this book? To you? What is this? Tell me!

K.C.: *purses her lips and raises her eyebrows with concern as she realises the penguin had gone silent* Hey? Are you okay?

Pip: *nods his head with his beak half-open, as if words were just behind it and trying to get out*

K.C.: So... uh... Are you going to answer the question? Want me to go back to the first chapter we did for you? *tilts her head*

Pip: Huh? What? No! *tries to smile at the koala* I'll do it *looks at the first chapter again* Oh, it's the rules *clicks his tongue* Readers seem to have been following it anyway *checks it again* Oh, my first word was "the" *lets out a short sarcastic laugh* Well, that was an amazing first word

Pip: *shakes his head* But I don't think that's the context of the question. The rule I said is to be respectful and I think this reader is — for lack of a better word because I'm currently too dumb to function — accusing me for breaking that rule *subtley rolls his eyes*

Pip: As far as I'm concerned, people make jokes about their own problems all the time *lets out a short laugh* I make self-deprecating jokes about my anxiety, K.C. makes self-deprecating jokes about being bisexual — also, biphobia sucks and should end — and I've encountered quite the number of animals who make jokes about their own crippling depression

Pip: This is like this post I saw one day *tilts his head as he tries to remember it* I think it said something along the lines of "When you make a joke about your own mental illness and someone nearby says that it could be offensive to people with mental illnesses"

K.C.: *eyes widen as she shakes her head with a "disappointed but not surprised" smile* Goodness, I hate those types of animals

((So apparently no one's recommending any new songs.

I'm not gon start in the animatic until at least 5 people have voted and I know that there are more than 5 of you out there. In the meantime, I'm just going to leave the list of songs at the end of each chapter until I have enough number of votes

"In My Head Like a Catchy Song"-My Little Pony. Sweet, loving vibes.
"Helpless"-Hamilton. Just pure fluff
"Stupid with Love"-Mean Girls. Suits them, upbeat.
"Cliché"-mxmtoon. Sweet and soft.
"Absolutely Smitten"-doddleoddle. sweet, light, blissful.
"Stay"-Amélie (London Cast Recording). Romantic, kind, gentle.
"Thin Air"-Amélie (London Cast Recording) Not really a romance song, but I wanna try working with it. It's a really nice song
