My eyelids flicker as I snuggle on my bed, feeling something warm embracing me. I sigh in contentment, thinking about the dream I just had.

It's a really good dream. Smiling softly, I decide to go back to sleep, indulging myself a little bit more.

It felt so real that I'm still feeling his warmth.

Why does everything around me feel so good now? It even smells good. Like him.

My hurt thumps. Warm? Good?

I snap my eyes open and almost have a heart attack when I find myself cuddling in someone's arm. As I pull away, my eyes dart on Jake's face.

He's apparently awake, gazing at me with his intense dark blue eyes.

Then I remember that it wasn't just a dream. My eyes widen in surprise.

A soft smile curves on his lips. "Good morning."

I'm still starstruck that no words leave my mouth. The memory of last night comes flashing back in my mind.

Right. We were kissing. And then I let him stay here for the night -- It was already late and the morning was approaching anyway.

Then we cuddled to sleep.

Fully clothed. I just have to stress that.

Abruptly, I sit up. "We--we're going to be late," I stutter.

Really? That's the first thing I say?

Another smile creeps on his lips. "Don't worry. We still have time."

I glance at the clock on my nightstand. And he's right. Well, thank God we still do.

As if reading my thoughts, he says, "We can go together. We just have to drop by my house later for me to get ready."

Slowly, I nod, like being hypnotized. Of course, we do have to go to his house later, since he didn't bring his clothes here.

But let me just have proper breathing for a while, because it still feels surreal that I just woke up in his arms, here, on my bed.

"Okay," I say. "Let me just...prepare our breakfast."

With that said, I get up from my bed and head to the kitchen, feeling him following me.

My heart is still racing inside my chest.

I prepare two sets of bacon and eggs with french toasts, feeling him watching me as he leans against the wall.
