With the house all packed and moving just a day away, Sokka and Suki decided to take the girls to their favorite restaurant and place before they left home. The Lavender Café and The Lavender Park.

"Is it yummy?" Suki asked taking a bite of rice.

Yukari shoved another cucumber sushi roll into her mouth and nodded. "Mmm!" She tried to swallow it but she coughed. Sokka patted her back and chuckled, "Careful there, Lemur Bat. You might choke. Eat slower."

"Yukari eats too much at a time like daddy." Yumie said, proceeding to eat some more noodles and coughing when she couldn't swallow all of them in one bite.

Yukari took a sip of water and turned to her unimpressed, "No, I just like sushi A LOT!"

"Okay no fighting." Suki said calmly.

Sokka tried to lighten the mood with a joke, "Hey girls, ummmm, what did the hummingbee say to the sushi roll..." they stared at him waiting for the answer, "WASABI!"

Suki looked at him and raised her eyebrow, "What a dumbass," she thought, "but that's my dumbass." And chuckled

"WASABI! Get it girls?!" Sokka tried to get them to laugh but they weren't budging, "Oh come on! That was a good one!"

"HA!" Yukari blurted sarcastically and Yumie snickered and ate a piece of pineapple.

After an hour of chatting, mild bickering, corny dad jokes, and laughter, Sokka and Suki brought the girls to their favorite place in the world: the lavender park.

"Daddy! Swing me!" Yukari squealed.

Sokka laughed and lifted her up from her arms and swung her around, "Whoosh goes the sky bison!" Sokka threw her up and caught her which was her favorite perk from still being little.

Yukari giggled and hugged Sokka when he carried her again, "Love you daddy!"

Sokka beamed and kissed her cheek, "I love you too, sweetheart."

Yumie ran up to Sokka and tugged his tunic, "Chase me!" Yumie giggled and ran into the garden of sweet smelling purples and pinks. "COME FIND ME DADDY!" Sokka ran into the garden with a giggling Yukari clinging to his back. Suki listened to them call "elephant" "koi fish!" to try to find each other and couldn't help but smile.

Yumie ran out of the field, "Shhh mama. Daddy and Yu Yu still think I'm in the flowers."

Suki lifted her up and chuckled, "Okay, I can keep a secret." The two of them snickered and hid behind a tree.

"SUKI!!!!" Sokka yelled.

Suki and Yumie snickered, "Stay here and hide!" Suki instructed and Yumie nodded. Suki jogged out, "Did you find her?"

"NO! SHE'S LOST! I'M SORRY!" Sokka looked scared and Suki bursted out into laughter.

"WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING? OUR BABY GIRL IS MISSING!"

"THE FLOWERS ATE YUMIE!" Yukari started crying.

Suki's face softened and she wiped Yukari's face, "No they didn't baby."

"THEN WHERE IS SHE!" She yelled.

Yumie ran out from behind the cherry blossom tree laughing like a crazy person, "COME AND GET ME!"

Yukari fumed, "YOU SCARED ME AND DADDY!" She wiggled her way off of Sokka's back and chased Yumie around.

"COME CATCH ME YUKARI!"

"YOU'RE TOO FAST!" Yukari yelled back as she caught her breath.

Suki laughed and tapped Sokka, "Tag! You're it!"

"WHAT?" Suki winked at him and ran away laughing.
——
"Daddy look!" Yumie squealed.

Sokka looked up and his face contorted, "YUMIE? HOW DID YOU GET UP THERE-"

"Mama taught me! Look! There's moon peaches!" Yumie picked a nice round, ripe, and pink one and tossed it to Sokka who caught it. "Daddy! Catch me!"

Yumie jumped from the tree and Sokka caught her just in time, "Safe!" Sokka cheered and Yumie hugged him around his neck.

Suki and Yukari spread a nice picnic blanket out and set out some drinks, ube cookies, fruit, cabbage rolls, mushroom steambuns , and rice for the dinner picnic Suki and Sokka had planned after a long and fun day at the park.

"Mama!" Yukari chirped.

"Yes baby?"

"Look what I made!" Yukari held up the flimsy flower crown she had made from tying various wildflowers together by the stem, "For you Mama! Because you're a queen!"

Suki chuckled "Well I guess that makes you a princess?!" Yukari giggled and stood up to place the flimsy crown on Suki's head. Suki touched the crown with her fingers and smiled, "This is so sweet Yukari." She pulled Yukari into her lap and hugged her tightly, "Please don't grow up," and kissed the back of her head. Yukari smiled up at Suki and turned her herself around to cling onto her like a baby hog monkey. Suki got up, with Yukari still wrapped around her, "Sokka! Yumie!"

Sokka ran over with Yumie on his back screaming, "FASTER SKY BISON! YIP YIP!" She bonked his head and continued yelling which made Suki and Yukari giggle.

"OKAY! OKAY!" Sokka laughed and ran faster and Yumie giggled louder which was music to his ears.

When they got to the blanket, Sokka reached behind him and lifted her by her hand with one hand and allowed her to dangle there. Yumie giggled, "Look mama! I'm a hog monkey!" She proceeded to make a series of screeching noises, that sounded nothing like a hog monkey, and swung around. Yukari started to laugh at Yumie and Suki followed. Sokka swung her into the air and caught her.

"You silly child!" Yumie giggled and Sokka pinched her face.

Suki smiled as Yukari scooched to her and laid her head in her lap, "Picnic time!"

"Yes baby, picnic time!" Suki leaned down to give her lots of kisses and tickles. Yumie crawled over to Suki and she showered the two little girls with all the love and laughter she could.

Sokka glanced up from the meals he was setting up and couldn't help but fall in love with her all over again.
