Heyyy. So after some research last night, i realized that tigers aren't native to and don't live in Japan. Especially not tsushima island. So I'm gonna make some minor changes to Atsumi, such at her breathing style. Instead of tiger breathing, it will be known as the breath of the leopard cat/leopard breathing. Asian leopard cats live in East Asia, so it would only make sense to have that as her way of fighting.
I've been doing a LOT of research on japan and places in Japan during the taisho era (which demon slayer takes place in). Apparently it started in 1912( so, 108 years ago), and ended in 1926.
I'll try and make the story more accurate, so bare with me. I'm assuming the demon slayer headquarters are not on an isolated island like tsushima is, so let's just say her and her siblings took a boat across.
