Oblivion Crisis

Chapter 23

Jason put all of his magic into the shield as Oblivion's attack completely engulfed him and Glaciea in pure darkness, but the attack was to strong and the shield started to crack and then it shattered completely. Intense pain erupted throughout Jason's entire body and a pain filled scream escaped his lips.
"Aaagh!" Jason yelled. He couldn't tell if Glaciea was still behind him or not the pain of the attack seemed to numb his senses, Jason closed his eyes awaiting the end.
"So this is how its going to end and I didn't even get to tell Glaciea how I..." Jason's train of thought was interrupted at the sudden realization that the pain from the attack suddenly stopped. Jason slowly opened up his eyes and tears started to fill them since standing in front of him was his dad. He was in his true demon form and was using his magic to shield Jason from Oblivion's attack. He turned his head towards Jason.
"I'm sorry that I'm late." Trey says then gives him a smile.
Jason is at a complete loss for words.
Trey turns his gaze back towards Oblivion who stopped his attack in surprise at seeing Trey in front of him.
"Today is the day you leave the worlds permanently Oblivion!" Trey yells then summons his scythe in his right hand.
Oblivion laughed.
"I think you're mistaken Satan since today is the day I kill you!"
"Oh really, now George and Glaciea!" Trey yells and from somewhere above Oblivion an ice arrow infused with holy magic came from the sky and struck Oblivion, Oblivion let out a surprised. "Roar!"
Trey turned and faced Jason.
"Alright Jason we don't have much time so listen I need you to take some of my magic and take on your true form." Trey says and holds out his hand, but Jason hesitates to take it. "Jason I know that your afraid of your true form, but my magic will help keep you in control of yourself, but if you feel yourself slipping just think of the individuals that mean the most to you to help you regain control okay." Trey says and Jason is still hesitant, but he knew that he could trust his dad.
Oblivion's surprise wore off and was replaced with complete rage, he turned his gaze towards George and Glaciea who where both in there true forms.
"We need to keep Oblivion distracted Glaciea." George says next to her.
"Alright dad." Glaciea says then notches an arrow to her bow string. "Niflheim arrow!" Glaciea says then lets go of the bow string the arrow grew in size as it flys towards Oblivion.
"You insects are really getting on my nerves!" Oblivion says outraged then unleashes a breath attack that collided with Glaciea's attack, but Oblivion's attack ends up over powering Glaciea's attack and heads right towards her, Glaciea quickly notches an arrow to her bow string, but the attack was moving to quickly.
"I don't have enough time!" She says.
"I won't let him hurt you again Glaciea!" Jason says then flys between Glaciea and Oblivion's attack, his sword in his right hand.
"Hell's fury!" Jason says and his sword is engulfed in pure darkness. Jason cut through Oblivion's attack like it was nothing.
Oblivion looked at Jason pure rage burning in his crimson red eyes.
"You insects have really tested my patience and now I think its time I show you a couple new tricks that I've learned and can't wait to show you!" Oblivion starts chanting in an ancient language.
"No way." George says and catches his breath.
"Did Oblivion seriously learn how to enhance himself further?!" Trey asked in disbelief.
When Oblivion was done chanting his physical appearance was altered. Instead of his body being completely pitch black, his horns where white, his wings where white on the outside and his chest had some white markings on it. Oblivion looked right at Trey, George, Glaciea and Jason a cruel smile appeared on his scaly face.
"Your not the only ones that have a true form, now let me demonstrate the power I have now!" Oblivion struck the ground with his foot and a fissure appeared on the ground it opened up and dark menacing magic came out of it.
"He's making powerful fiends." George says and grits his teeth.
In mere seconds Oblivion had at least 20 powerful fiends surrounding him. The fiends reminded Jason and Glaciea of the fiends they fought in the forest with Drake, but these fiends Jason could tell where a lot stronger than the ones from the forest.
We need to get rid of those fiends and get to Oblivion." Trey says.
"Maybe we can be of assistance with that."
They all looked down and saw that Drake, Sara, Kaze, Yurie, Kasia, Kaze, Flora, Michael and Raphael where all standing there but Gabriel wasn't anywhere to be seen.
Oblivion laughed.
"You might have defeated those other fiends I sent, but these fiends are in a league of there own you don't stand a chance of defeating them and now let me show you what I mean."
The fiends charged at them.
"Your highness let us handle these fiends focus on Oblivion!" Kasia yells.
"Thank you everyone." Trey yells back at them.
"Lets end this!" George says.
"Right!" They all agree.
"Jason take my hand and Glaciea you take George's hand, if we combine our magic and unleash two powerful attacks we should be able to overwhelm Oblivion." Trey says and Jason takes his hand and Glaciea takes her dad's hand.
"Jason you use Hell's fury and Glaciea you use Niflheim arrow." George instructs.
They both shake there heads in agreement.
"Hell's fury!" Jason yells.
"Niflheim arrow!" Glaciea yells.
There two attacks combine and fly towards Oblivion.
Oblivion smiles right before the attack hits him.
"Why didn't he try to intercept that?" George asked.
"Did any of you see Oblivion smile right before the attack hit him?" Jason asked looking at where Oblivion was standing.
Everyone caught there breath when they saw what appeared to be a magic barrier was around Oblivion and he escaped that attack without a single scratch on him.
"Nice try insects, but I think its time for me to end this!" Oblivion says and starts chanting in an ancient language, all of the markings on his chest started to glow and an orb of pure menacing feeling magic appeared above Oblivion's head.
"If Oblivion finishes that incantation he will destroy Sorairo and kill everyone in it, we need to stop him now!" Trey says.
"But how? As long as he has that magic barrier up none of our attacks will reach him!" Glaciea says.
"We need to figure out away to get rid of that barrier and fast!" George says.
"I heard someone needs a barrier smashed well it looks like I came at the right time then." Said a voice.
Jason looked in the direction of where the voice came from and standing on top of a nearby building was Miss. Tuski, she had her great sword in her hands and standing next to her was Gabriel.
"So Madelyn what do you say about a hug?" Gabriel asks.
Miss. Tuski sighs. "Alright dad, but only because I need to borrow your magic to prevent Oblivion from remaking his barrier after I smash it."
Gabriel has an overjoyed expression on his face  as he hugged her.
Miss. Tuski looks at Oblivion.
Gabriel lets go of her. "Go get him Madelyn!"
Miss. Tuski jumped off the top of the building and infused her great sword with the power of the moon and the power of the archangel Gabriel. "No defense can withstand me!" She yelled then brought her sword down on the barrier shattering it.
"Impossible!" Oblivion said fury in his voice.
"Now!" George yelled and Oblivion was hit with Jason and Glaciea's attack.
Oblivion let out a pain filled. "ROAR!"
"Did we get him?" Glaciea asked.
Oblivion stood up he had a massive hole in his side, but it started to close.
"Oblivion is using his magic to heal himself?!"Trey says and grits his teeth in anger.
"Look see that spot above his left hip it didn't fully heal!" Glaciea points out.
"Then that means Oblivion won't be able to heal himself from another attack, lets focus all of our magic into one final attack." George says and everyone shakes there heads in agreement.
Oblivion looks around at all of his opponents the finds he summoned where still holding there ground, but he lost some.
"How are these insects this strong?!" He thought to himself. He felt a strong attack coming at him, he looked up to see a powerful magic attack coming at him he gathered what magic he had left and unleashed it at the attack to intercept it.
"I don't think so." Miss Tuski says then unleashes a holy magic slash attack at Oblivion to try to distract him.
Oblivion looked at Miss. Tuski who smiled at him since she knew that she succeeded in distracting him just enough that Jason and Glaciea's attack would reach him and sure enough.
Oblivion couldn't stop the attack and when it collided with him he let out a ear piercing.
"ROAR!"
"I can't believe it the punny insects actually defeated me?!..."
Everyone was in stun silence even the remaining fiends that Oblivion summoned as they watched as Oblivion dissolved into nothingness. The remaining fiends after seeing there master defeated tried to flee, but where cut off.
"Your not going anywhere." Yuri says.
"I can't believe it we actually defeated Oblivion!" Glaciea says then flys at Jason and gives him a giant bear hug tears of happiness rolling down her face, Jason hugged her back tears rolling down his face as well.
When Jason and Glaciea landed on the ground they where met by Drake and Sara who where crying with tears of happiness as well.
"When we saw Oblivion engulf you with his magic attack and we heard you two both yell out in pain Sara and I honestly thought we lost you!" Drake says wiping away tears.
Jason goes over and hugs Drake and Drake hugs him back, Jason didn't know what else to do since if his dad didn't show up when he did he probably wouldn't be standing here now.
"I'm so relived to see you two both okay though." Sara says while hugging Glaciea.

After the last of the fiends where taken care of with the help of Trey and George they all converted back to there human forms.
"Crystal I have a question for you." Glaciea says suddenly and this surprised Crystal.
"Yes Glaciea ?" She asked her.
"You said that everyone else was in different safe areas in the city right? So I was wondering if you could take us to them." Glaciea asked her.
"Yes that won't be an issue, and it would also be good to inform them of what happened too." Crystal says.
