V unwillingly dragged his feet towards the restaurant his father was dragging him into. His face was dark as he was refusing to enter the restaurant without a proper explanation of the situation. However, his face immediately brightened up when he saw Hyojoo sitting with her father.
She waved at him with a huge smile on her face, causing him to smile too as he waved back. He rushed to her side, bowed to her father and sat beside her. V's father nodded to Hyojoo's father and vice versa. Then, the meeting began.
"Here is the contract."
Hyojoo's father said, laying a contract on the table. V cocked his head to the side as his eyebrows furrowed. What contract was this? He read the contract and his eyes widened in shock. His heart fluttered as he smiled at Hyojoo.
"Hyojoo already signed the contract, it's up to you now,"
Hyojoo's father said, staring at V.
If a party wishes to cease the contract, they must pay the other party 100,000,000.00 won.
The contract read. Although normally, people would hesitate, V, without any hesitation, grabbed a pen and signed it. He liked Hyojoo and she liked him, right? Why would he reject the contract?
Seeing him sign the contract, Hyojoo's face lit up as she held onto his hand. They could never leave one another now. V smiled at Hyojoo and intertwined his fingers with hers. He thought it was the right choice but something in him felt uneasy.
