On my 18th birthday, I woke up early only to see Minhyuk talking to my mom and dad in the living room. My brothers were still in their rooms since it was almost 10 in the morning, and I just woke up because I was feeling thirsty.. but Minhyuk didn't tell me he'd go here so early.

"Oh! Birthday girl's already awake!" Mom and dad stood up when they saw me walking to them. Greeting me with a hug in front of Minhyuk, I felt my cheeks burning. "Happy birthday, sweetie." Mom said before letting me go.

"You're suitor's here, by the way." dad said as he sat back down.

"I can see, dad." I replied, looking at Minhyuk. "You didn't call me that you'll be here this morning."

"Actually, he called me yesterday." Mom said, placing a hand on Minhyuk's. "Minhyuk said he wanted to talk to us."

I sat down beside dad and asked, "About what?"

"Anything," Dad chuckled, "Minhyuk is a fun guy to talk to. Why didn't you introduce him to us sooner? He's just like Taehyung!"

"Brothers really are alike most of the time." Mom agreed, "Just look at our own boys." She turned to me. "Jisoo, you should take a bath now, dear. You're not going to eat breakfast with us."

My jaw dropped. "What?!"

"We're going to decorate the living room and cook food for you." Dad smiled, "It's a surprise so you shouldn't be here. Minhyuk is going to take you out this morning."

This is the first time that Dad let me go out with a boy other than my friends that he already met. It's the first time he easily trusted someone to be with me. Minhyuk's really that kind of guy who easily gets someone's trust, huh? No wonder I fell for him fast.

I quickly went upstairs to take a bath and prepare. After 20 minutes, I was ready to go back downstairs and pull Minhyuk outside our house. "You should have given me a heads up last night. I would have walked out of my room with combed hair."

Minhyuk chuckled, leading me to a black car. "You look good even without hair, Jisoo."

"You're only saying that because it's my birthday." I stuck my tongue out at him. "Is this a new car?"

"Nope. It's mom's." Minhyuk opened the door for me, "She wishes you a happy birthday and successful future ahead too."

"Really?" I'm not that close with Mrs. Kim but the greeting itself made me smile. "Please tell her 'thank you' for me."

"Will do, birthday girl." Minhyuk said before closing the door.

After 20 minutes of Minhyuk driving, I sensed that we were headed to a familiar place. "Are we going to Starship?"

"There's a restaurant beside our building," he explained, "Someone reserved a table for us."

"Someone?" I asked, "Who?"

Minhyuk grinned, staring straight ahead. "You'll see when we get there."

When we got out of the car, I noticed Minhyuk missing something. "You won't wear a mask or anything that'll cover your face? You might be recognized with me here."

"I'm not famous, Jisoo. Relax." He smiled.

You're not famous yet... but I know you'll be one soon.

"At least put on a cap, please." I told him, just to be sure.

"Alright. Here." Minhyuk wore a black cap and smiled. "Is this okay?" I nodded.

The restaurant wasn't any restaurant I got in before. It's actually at the top of a hotel, overlooking the vicinity. As Minhyuk and I tried to find the table reserved for us, someone waved at us. "Is that-?" I said, narrowing my eyes to have a clearer look. Once I knew who he was, I said, "Kihyun!"
