Hey guys,
You all are getting me really excited with the follows, votes and comments.

Thank you very much and keep them coming.

~Amara's POV ~

"I've refused to give thought to all my mum and sisters said to me that day. They made me feel like a child in their midst" I said angrily.

I looked at Nma who wasn't even looking at me.

"You are not saying anything?" I asked.

"What would you have me say?" She replied.

I sighed and looked away from her.
I was angry that she was uninterested in my issue.

She turned to me smiling.

"You've been here for long already. Pardon my manners, what would you have?" She asked smiling like a waitress would.

I rolled my eyes at her gesture and laughed after.

"You don't need to act all formal with me. But since you want to, I think I would have orange juice" I replied crossing my leg jokingly.

She laughed sparsely as she uttered an 'okay'.

I watched her struggle to stand up, like someone in great pains would.
She had already had her baby 2 years back and was definitely not pregnant.

So why the struggle? I worried.

"I would go get the drink myself" I said having noticed the struggle in getting up.

Her hand signalled a pause to me as she rose and smiled.

I sat back and watched her go,struggle and pain was in her every step and it got me really worried.

I had been worried earlier about a big dark spot I had sighted on her arm.
It seemed like a blood clot caused by a hit or something.

When I asked, she said she had hit her arm against the door knob.

I didn't push further even though I wondered how that could cause such injury.

I watched her as she came back holding a tray.

She struggled to place it on the stool in front of me.
My eyes didn't stop watching her until she sat down painfully too.

"Nma, are you okay at all? Since I came here, you've been struggling with almost everything like a woman in labour. What's the matter?" I asked with concern.

"It's nothing,
I just feel weak. My bones are hurting. Pains everywhere"

"Are you sure you are not down with malaria? Do you feel feverish?"

"No I don't.
See, it's nothing to worry about. I would be fine"

"No, you have to go for a check up" I pressed on.

"Ahah,
I said I would be fine na" she said in between mild chuckles.

I starred at her for a while and I noticed a few changes.
