~°Nathan's POV°~

I looked at their faces and there was no trace of joke or play.

"Are you being serious?" I asked concerned.

"Yes my son. We are too old to be telling a lie." My father replied , confusion spelt all over his face.

"But did the gate man say where she traveled to?" I asked.

"No he didn't. She just left him the keys." my mum said.

"He even sounded more confused than we were" she added.

"Is he being honest?" My dad questioned her.

"I have a feeling he is hiding something " he said looking at me.

"How?" I asked.

"He said when he asked her, she told him she was traveling but she didn't say where and few days later, she took a few home equipments and virtually all her boxes out of the house" he said.

"He wouldn't lie if he knew" I said sure that the gate man was saying all he knew.

"Could it be that she has relocated to another city or maybe abroad?" Mum asked.

I was quiet.

"Why would she do that?" Dad asked no one in particular.

"Did we do anything wrong by suggesting she forgives you?" He added.

I couldn't help but think about my last fight with Amara .
I was sure that was the only reason she decided to leave.

Maybe she wanted to leave every memory of me and all I had made her go through behind.

I was sorry, couldn't she just see?

I thought she would be back to see me , but she meant it when she said that was going to be the last time I would see her.

I wondered if I would ever set my eyes on her.

"Was it so hard to forgive my wrong doings ?" I asked no one in particular.

"You did wrong by her son" my father said after a deep sigh.

"But she could have just forgiven him and everything would have been back to normal" my mum uttered with anger in her voice.

Dad just looked at her and looked away, focusing on the other people in the visiting room.

"How about her Mother or her family? Did you follow the directions I gave you, she's not with her mother either?" I was becoming worried.

"We paid her a visit this past week , she was not with her" Dad replied.

"Then where is she?" I was almost growing in rage.

They were both silently staring blankly at me.

"I believe she would be back, maybe she just needed time off everything" Dad tried to raise my hopes but I knew better.

"You keep saying that dad, but every other week you go back to that house, she isn't there. She doesn't come back!" I don't know what it was, but I knew my voice was changing.

I usually cried when I was frustrated and I knew I was now.
I felt helpless , like I would do a better job at finding her if only I could be set free.

"She doesn't even visit me, doesn't care about me anymore! She doesn't call my manager to check up on my business." I voiced.

"I guess she's tired of me, maybe she would drop a divorce letter soon. " I face palmed cursing underneath my breath.

"Am I really that bad?"

My parents just watched me, they didn't know what to do or say.

"You have few months remaining in here , don't get yourself stressed. She's safe wherever she is, and you would find her when you are out" Dad said.

"It's my wife we are talking about here"

"And does she still consider you as her husband"my mother came back at me.

I looked away from her.

"If you bump into her or something, just let me know" I said more to Dad.

"I think she just needed time son" he said patting my hand.

I couldn't help but worry if I was ever going to see her again.
I had never seen her angry like she was the last time and I couldn't help but be scared that this might just be the end of our relationship.

That end that I have always feared.
