Cheryls POV
I love Toni
So much
But she doesn't seem to want to try and get back together. She comes over and hangs out with C, but we don't talk usually.
"What's wrong Cher?" Veronica asks
"I still love her V," I sigh watching them play in the yard
"Have you guys talked?"
"No,"
"Maybe try then,"
"She won't, she hurt me so bad and she knows that and that means she will not talk to me Veronica,"
"Let me take C after they're done and sit down and talk to her,"
"Yeah okay, maybe that's best,"
Cierra runs up a while later and says Toni got a call.
"Baby, Veronica is going to take you for a bit okay? Go have some fun,"
"Okay mama, I love you,"
"I love you too baby,"
They leave and Toni comes back up as well.
"Where's Cierra?"
"Veronica took her for dinner, I wanted to talk,"
"Oh?"
We go inside on the couch and she sits beside me.
"Tones.."
"Cher they might be coming for me," she says quickly "the people I was afraid of before. Fangs called and they... lost track of them but their path was to Riverdale,"
"So you want to leave again?"
"I don't want to,"
"Then don't Toni.. stay,"
I kiss her and her hands go to my face
Shit she's pushing me away.
"Why'd you back up?" She asks confused
"I- I thought your hands were pushing me away,"
"Never," she says before kissing me again
We release after a few blissful seconds and she keeps her hands on my jaw.
"I still love you Cheryl, with all my heart," she says a little out of breath "and I know when I left it hurt you and I will never forgive myself for that,"
"I love you too Toni," I smile "I want you to love back home,"
She purses her lips and sighs
"Cher... I want to but what if they come back and hurt her or you?"
"They won't T, please,"
"Give me 5 days, let me go back and figure some things out and I'll be back,"
"Promise me you won't die Toni,"
"I promise you Cheryl. I just got the love of my life back and my little girl told me she loved me today- I'm not leaving now,"
She kisses me again and smiles against my lips.
"I can't believe you still love me after what I did," she says
"What? Protecting me and Cierra? Of course I'd still love you Toni,"
"Can we go say bye to Cierra? So she knows I'm not leaving for good?"
"Of course," I say "you're leaving now?"
"Sooner I leave the sooner I'll be home," she says taking my hand "and I don't want to miss anymore time,"
