"Baby I'll meet you inside okay? I just need to send a few emails," Cher says kissing my cheek
"Okay, I'll be at the lockers,"
I go inside and go towards my locker when I see someone... familiar.
"Toni topaz," he says putting his hand on my arm

Tonis acting super sketchy.
She always tells me she loves me before she leaves or at least gives me a smile.
She was fine before school.
Well until she came in alone.
"What's wrong Cher? You look awful deep in thought,"
"It's Toni. She seems.. different," I sigh "did you see her talking to anyone before I got inside?"
"The cheer coach seemed to know her,"
"They couldn't be related,"
I don't know what to think
"Maybe I'll go see her at lunch," I sigh
"Text me if you need me?"

I drive home and go inside.
It's very quiet, maybe she's sleeping
I go into our room and most of her stuff is packed up in bags.
"Toni?" I ask
"C? I'm over here,"
I go to the other side of the bed and she's sitting against it crying her eyes out.
"Baby," I say kneeling beside her
I light grab her thigh and she bats it away.
"TT what's wrong my love,"
"I just needed a break, I'll be out in an hour," she sniffs
"What happened Tones, you were so happy this morning,"
"You'll just hate me," she whispers

"I cheated on you okay? Let me leave,"
She stands up and keeps packing.

I press her for a few minutes and she just breaks down

We stand there hugging for a minute
"Do you wanna go back to school or stay here for the day?"

It's the next day and T did really good all day.
We have cheer practice now so we go to the change room.
"There's my hot ass girlfriend," I smirk as she takes her shirt off

"You should smile more TT, whenever we're at school you look like a hard ass. But your smile is like perfect,"

We get changed and I notice 5 distinct bruises on T's thigh.

She shakes her head and we go out to practice.
She's been super clingy today

I was having body issues a few weeks ago and she's been amazing with helping me.
Our new coach walks in and Toni tenses up.
"T, this is our new coach, Coach Carter,"
"H-hi," she stutters

She tentatively shakes his hand and he smirks and walks away.
"Where'd my confident girlfriend go?" I ask grabbing her hips
She looks down and shrugs

"Toni what's up?" Veronica asks
She stutters and sighs.

"Because Veronica and I are the captains and you're not allowed to speak to anyone without both of us present,"

The yelling stops and Toni comes out of the office angry and sad
She walks right past V and I to the change room.

We follow her and she's changing.
"Hey baby," I say leaning against a locker "what happened?"
"He kicked me off the team," she says simply
"What? He can't do that!" Veronica says
"No one else is allowed to think I'm attractive," she says zipping her bag up "which means we're breaking up,"

"I'll send you the homework okay? Give me a week,"

We go back into the gym and carter isn't there.
"Where is he?"
"Parking lot," ginger says
We run out and there's already a confrontation between Toni and Carter
"I will never date you Carter. I can't, okay?" She yells
"If I cant date you no one can," he takes out a knife and slashes her throat.
He runs away and we run towards her
"TT, TT stay awake, you're okay,"
"C?"
"It's me baby,"
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to break up with you,"
"We didn't break up T, we're together,"
"Good," she says "you're hot,"

She passes out and the ambulance gets here.
We follow close behind and then almost an hour later the doctor comes in after the police leave
"She's asking for Cheryl," he says
I nod and follow him into a room.
"She can talk, it may hurt though,"
I thank him and walk in the room
"C, I'm dying," I mock "you have a good life,"
"Stop," she whispers "I thought I was,"
"I know baby,"
"Where's Carter?"
"The police have him, don't worry about him,"
She opens her arms and I crawl on top of her and lay down
"You seem upset baby," she sighs
"I was scared TT, and it sucks you had to go through all of that,"
"I'll be alright C, I promise okay?"
"Okay, but you're going to therapy,"
