Sweetpea's POV
Toni hasnt gotten drunk in forever- well atleast since she satrted dating Cheryl so I made a bet with Fangs that i could get her drunk.
« Tones I need to drink can you come with me?" I ask
"Uh, sure I'll come, can Cheryl?" She asks looking up from her phone
"Ya sure Wyrme in like 30?" I ask
"Ya for sure I'll go pick Cher up now,"
I'll get her this time.
...
I'm 3 drinks deep, and Toni, you ask? Sober as 6 year old.
"Come on T, take a shot with me!" I beg
"No I'm ok," She says rubbing Cheryls thigh
"Baby you can drink if you want, it doesn't bother me," Cheryl says playing with Toni's hair
"Uh, I don't know Cher," She says conflicted
"Its fine either way I'll just stay with my cola," CHeryl smiles
TOni reluctantly agrees and comes over. I set up the shot's while Toni walks over. She has an awful high liquor tolerance so 4 shots in she wasn't even tipsy. I look over to where Cheryl was sitting and she was drooped over some man, and looked dazed.
"Toni we need to get to Cheryl,"
Her face drops when she turns and sees what's happening. She runs over and confronts the guy
"What the hell are you doing?" She asks
"Oh my girl just drank too much and I'll take her home," he lies
"Hmm that's weird because she's my girlfriend," she rolls her eyes "so back off,"
She punches him straight in the face and throws him out of the bar.
"Toni, I want Toni," Cheryl groans
"She's coming back Cheryl," I assure her
Toni walks in and I wave her over.
"She's asking for you,"
She nods and hugs Cheryl.
"T I'm so sorry," Cheryl says clumsily hugging Toni
"Baby don't be sorry," Toni says "Don't be sorry,"
Toni and I both scan the counter and see two Cherry Colas one empty and one half full. I pick it up and see little bits of white powder down the bar and in the bottle.
"Toni she was drugged," I whisper
She nods and kisses the top of Cheryl's head
"Baby who gave you the drink?" She asks
"I don't know, I just asked for one from the guy at the bar,"
Since Lily was working tonight we knew she was scammed. Cheryl has tears streaming down her face when Toni releases from their hug.
"Let's get you home?" Toni asks
"Not home, my mom," Cheryl says
"Ok my trailer?" She asks
Cheryl nods and Toni picks her up.
"Sorry Pea, next time,"
I nod and let them go.
Toni's POV
I wake up the next morning without Cheryl beside me which is odd. Panicking I get up and run out to the living room.
"Cheryl?" I yell
"In here," I hear her groan
I walk to the bathroom and slowly open the door. She obviously threw up and was embarrassed about it.
"You should've woken me up," I say sitting beside her
"I'm sorry Toni, I ruined your night,"
"Cher don't be sorry," I say putting my hand on her thigh
She looks at the ground and tears start falling down her cheeks
"Hey baby look at me," I say turning her chin "I love you and I should've protected you. So I'm sorry ok? I should've helped you and been with you,"
"TT no, don't say that," she says
I wipe her tears and kiss her forehead
"I promise I'm always going to protect you Cheryl, nothing like that will ever happen again,"
"You're too good to me," she smiles softly
"You deserve the world Cheryl Blossom,"
She laughs as I pick her up off the ground and we go watch movies.
...
2 weeks later Sweetpea asks me to go out again.
"Cheryl can come, she's actually pretty chill," he adds
"Ya we'll be there," I agree
I call Cheryl and then go to pick her up.
"You look beautiful as always."
She's wearing white jeans, a red crop top and her signature red lipstick
She laughs at me and gets on. I speed to the wyrme and help her off the bike.
"Cher, tonight I will get all your drinks ok? Just come find me even though I don't think I'll leave your side," I say grabbing her hand
She nods and kisses my cheek.
"Thank you Toni,"
"Anytime baby," I say
We go inside and sit in a booth with Pea and Fangs. And make small talk for a bit.
"TT I'm kinda thirsty,"
"What would you like babes?" I ask
"Surprise me," she replies
"Alcohol or no?" I ask
"Sure," she replies
The boys both want beer so I go and get our drink.
"Topaz I didn't know you were working tonight," FP says
"I'm not but last time someone claiming to be a bartender drugged my girlfriend," I reply grabbing the last drink
"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't hear, anything you two need let me know," he says sincerely
"Thanks FP,".
"No problem, go have fun,"
I got back to the table and give everyone their drinks.
"Thank you," Cheryl smiles
I kiss her temple and laugh
"I love you,"
"I love you too," she replies putting her head on my shoulder
A man approach's is with a drink and smiles.
"The lad at the bar bought red a drink," he says
"I'm ok thanks, my girlfriend just brought me one," she says smiling at me
"We're good, bye bye," I say
He nods and gives the drink back to the man.
I get a text to help FP and Sweetpeas gets the same text.
"Babes I have to go see FP," I say getting up
"Ok," she replies
"Remember what I said?" I ask
She nods and laughs. Sweetpea and I finally find FP after like 30 minutes and he says he didn't need us at all. So Pea and I walk back to see the man from earlier talking to Cheryl and her looking terrified.
"What in the literal hell are you doing here?" I ask
"My father sent him," Cheryl says blandly
"But your dad is dead,"
"And apparently he is homophobic from his grave because guess where he is trying to take me?" She says "the bitches of quiet death,"
"Get the hell out of here before I get my brothers to beat the sin out of you," I threaten
"But her fathers final request was for her to be back in the correct mental health," the man says
Sweetpea grabs the man by the back of the collar and drags him outside with fangs' help
I immediately hug Cheryl.
"I'm so sorry my love I shouldnt have left you alone." I whisper in her ear
"Tones it's ok, I'm ok. Thank you for saving me," she says back
Tears start rolling down my face at the thought of losing her again.
"Don't cry babe," she whispers "I'm here, I'm ok,"
"I can't lose you Cheryl, not to that place, not to anyone, not ever again," I say
She releases from the hug and wipes my tears.
"I'm yours, ok baby? Forever and always," she says
"I love you Cheryl,"
"I love you Toni,"
We walked home that night, hand in hand and me thanking god that my girl was ok.
