Cheryl's pov
Toni has a lot of swagger.
It's so hot.
She's literally your stereotypical biker, tomboy, badass.
We aren't dating but we've gone on a few dates and I really really like her.
"Where's your hot date?" Ronnie asks nudging me "isn't she supposed to take you out for lunch?"
"She is," I blush "but who knows,"
"How was it last night?"
"It was fun, we just ate and then she took me home,"
"Boo that's boring,"
"No it was nice,"
"Oh there she is now," Ronnie nods behind me
I turn around and she smirks at me without even breaking her confident stride.
"Hey Cheryl, you ready to head out?" She asks
"Yep,"
"Gimme your bag,"
"It's fi-"
"Give me the bag Blossom," she says smirking at me again
I give in and let her take my bag for me
"See ya around Lodge," she winks
We walk out and I assume we're going to her bike.
"Where you going?" She asks
"Your bike,"
"Nah, we're walking,"
We walk to a small forest and a blanket and picnic is already set up.
"Toni this looks amazing!" I gasp
"Thought I had to up my game if I wanted to keep hanging out with you,"
Hanging out?

"Oh you didn't have to," I laugh
"My mom's trying to make me move. To some dump truck town outside of Ohio,"
"You don't wanna go?"
"I would be leaving the serpents, this school," she sighs as we lay on the blanket "I'd be leaving you, and you have no other people that you like,"
I laugh and sigh
"I don't want you to leave,"
"I'm not going too,"
We eat and sit there in a comfortable silence
"I like you Toni," I whisper
She sits up and looks at me
"Huh?"
"I like you,"
"I like you too,"
"Not as a friend Toni, more than that,"
"I didn't mean as a friend Blossom," she smirks "you think I go out for dinner with my friends? You think I go on picnics with my friends?"
"So.."
She kisses me and I put my hands on her jaw.
"Cheryl will you be my girlfriend?" She asks
I nod and she kisses me again.
"We have to get back to the school," I say
"Or not,"
"Or yes, we are not playing hookey," I laugh "plus I want to show off my hot girlfriend around the halls,"
"Fine," she sighs
We walk back to my locker and she backs me into it and grabs my hips
I go a little stiff since technically I'm not out to everyone
"What's wrong?" She asks
I give her a small smile
"Nothing,"
"Oh shoot, Cher. Are you not out?"
"I wasn't, fully, but it's okay Toni. I want to be,"
"I feel bad now,"
I grab her jaw and kiss her
"Don't feel bad,"
"So we are skipping class right?"
"No," I laugh "you are going to math and I am going to health,"
"Oh I don't need to go to math,"
"Go learn Topaz, for me?"
She nods and walks away.
"Look at you go Cher," Ronnie says
"Oh shut up,"
"I'm serious she's so hot,"
"Who's hot?" Reggie (her boyfriend) asks
"Cheryl's new girlfriend,"
"Congrats who is she?"
"Toni Topaz,"
"Nice, I didn't even know she was into girls,"
"Have you not noticed how she stares at Cheryl's ass,"
"No I don't track Topaz's eye sight,"
I laugh and we all go to health class.
It's long and boring but thankfully ends and it's time to leave.
"Hey Princess," Toni says leaning against the locker beside mine
"That name isn't happening,"
"Am I wrong?" She asks
"Hey uh that's my locker?" Some guy says ushering to the locker Toni's leaning on
"Get a new locker," she says
"Get off it,"
"Nah I'm cool," she sighs "I'm talking to my girlfriend if you don't mind,"
He rolls his eyes and leaves
"Be nice,"
"I thought you liked my bad girl vibe,"
I roll my eyes and she smirks
"You know you love it babygirl, wanna grab a milkshake?"
"If you do your homework,"
"Don't have any,"
"Bullshit," I say
"I don't have anything i want to do,"
"Lets go Toni," I sigh
She drives to Pops and we sit down on the same side of the booth.
She bothers me while I do my homework
"Do your homework," I giggle
"No this is more fun," she says kissing my jawline
I see mother walking in and I push her away
"Toni you have to go," I say
"I'm sorry Cher, I won't bother you anymore,"
She tries to grab my hand and I hit it away.
"What's wrong Cheryl?"
The commotion catches my mother's attention
"I'm a Blossom, and I lowered my standards to hangout with a serpent but obviously that was a mistake- because you're a dyke too. Get away from me you abomination,"
"Cher What are you talking about?"
"Leave me alone," I say in my typical bitchy tone "get out of here before I call the police- or varmint control,"
She gets angry and leaves
Fuck me really
"Good work darling, don't want to hang around bad influences," my mom says sitting across from me
I nod and wipe a tear.
...
"What do you mean it's over?"
"My mom came in and I panicked. Said some terrible things and she permanently blocked Toni's number from my phone. And her instagram and Snapchat," I sigh "plus, she's probably already rebounded,"
Veronica shrugs and rubs my back
"You cared about her though, you let her get away from your mother,"
"I did," i sigh "but my mom has set me up with some rich kid so I guess I'll just marry him,"
"That's the saddest thing I've heard,"
"My life is the saddest thing you'll see,"
I feel hands on my hips and jump away
"Hey sugar,"
"I'm guessing you're William?" I sigh
"Will is Fine," he says winking "easier to say when your moaning,"
"We haven't even gotten dinner yet,"
"You can be my snack," he says
"Get away from me," I say "you're disgusting,"
"My father said your mother promised,"
"I'm not my mother,"
He kisses me and Veronica pushes him off me.
"Get lost William," she says
He shakes his head and leaves.
"Toni saw the him kiss you," she says "I don't think she saw us push him away,"
"Good maybe she'll move on. It's safer that way,"
Toni walks back past us and glares at me.
"She looks different," I sigh
"She's upset Blossom," Sweetpea says shoving me into a locker "the stuff you said wasn't cool, she wasn't out you know? Doing that to out her and then drop her is such an asshole move,"
"I-I,"
"Save it your dead Blossom,"
"Sweetpea let her go,"
I turn my head and Toni is standing there
"She's not worth it anyways Pea,"
"Are you sure?"
"Ya id rather you beat up her dumbass boyfriend,"
"Deal," he says letting me go
They walk away and I sigh
"That sucks,"
"Maybe William will Leave me alone,"
I go to class and go to the bathroom half way through my last period
I'm washing my hands when Toni walks in
"I'll leave, I know how must you hate me,"
"Tones I'm sorry,"
"No I get it. You cheerleaders think you can just fuck with anyone," she says "how'd you get your boyfriend to agree to this?"
"He's not my boyfriend," I sigh
"Do you want a chance to explain?" She asks
"Huh?"
"I guess I've been unfair and you look like you have something to say,"
"My mother is homophobic. Like severely. She sent me to A place a while ago that tried to change me,"
"They still have those?"
I nod and rub my arm
"My brother was bi, he died in there,"
"I'm sorry. my sister died in one too," she says "a long time ago though,"
I start crying but wipe the tears quickly and get my confidence back
"Thanks for letting me explain- I gotta go get ready for my date with William,"
"I thought he wasn't your boyfriend,"
"He isn't, but my family believes in arranged marriages so- here I go,"
"Cher.."
"Toni, I'm fine,"
She kisses me and pushes me against the wall
"So you're saying, that you're going through with this- and even though you're a lesbian, I will be the last woman you ever kiss?" She says glancing at my lips again "you're saying you'll be able to do that?"
"No I won't be able to, but at least you'll be safe Toni,"
"And you?"
I kiss her and she holds my face

"I will be fine TT,"
I leave and go home to get ready
"Cheryl, Will is at the door!" My mother yells
I go downstairs and sigh
"You look dashing," he winks
"Let's get this over with," I sigh sadly
He drives me to Pops and we sit across from eachother
He blabs in about his father and lacrosse and his money and I pretend to be interested.
"Isn't that the snake you were making out with yesterday?" He asks looking at someone behind me
I turn and lock eyes with Toni
"Yeah that's Toni," I sigh turning back around
"She's hot, think she'd be down for a threesome?"
"No she never liked douchebags," I sigh finishing my milkshake
"Cher up let's go," she says
"What? Toni,"
"No arguments let's go,"
"TT.."
"Cher you don't want to live this way and I'll be damned to see you be unhappy. Please babygirl,"
She extends her hand and I take it.
"Where the fuck are you going Blossom?" Will asks getting angry "I will tell your mother about this,"
He stands up and slaps me
"Sit back down bitch,"
Toni puts me behind her
"If you so much as look at her again- I'll end you,"
We walk out and I look around scared.
"Baby no ones going to hurt you okay?" She says
I nod
"Thank you Toni,"
"Every time Blossom, you can stay at mine for as long as you need okay? I live alone anyways, the company would be nice," she sighs
She cups my face and focuses on where he hit me.
"Are you alright? It looked like it hurt,"
"It's not the first time T, I'm okay,"
She looks at me confused and I look at the ground
"No babes, look at me. Tell me about it,"
"My mother basically sells me to these families so when I don't respond a certain way they hit me. Every relationship I've been in it's happened,"
"Not this one C, okay? I promise you,"
